Hello there :gtplanet:

How is everybody doing on this cloudy Friday afternoon? I'm doing great.

I've played every single Gran Turismo title (GT3 A-Spec was the best in my opinion) and I have to say that it is one of my favorite racing series available on PlayStation!

I got the collectors edition of GT5 (the one with the book and postcards) for Christmas 2010 and it ended up being one of my most played games until my PS3 got the dreaded Yellow Light of Death during the Summer of 2011 (RIP Fatty).

Fast forward to yesterday, my Dad finally caved in and picked us up a brand new PS3 320gb Slim with PS Move, some crappy dance game and Karate Kid (already have that on blu-ray :P).

As it came to be my turn on the PlayStation, I was eagerly awaiting the chance to get on Gran Turismo. But then came the dreaded game updates :ouch: after 5 hours of waiting I finally managed to get on and do some races on GT5 this morning (I left them to install when I went to bed).

So, after losing everything as I stupidly forgot to back up my GT5 saves I had to start up again, so I hopped in my 2012 GT86 gift car and raced around the Autumn Ring circuit. The memories of long nights sat in front of my TV and PS3 came flooding back to me and I just had a blast of a time driving in GT5 again.

So after that lengthy introduction, here's a bit about me, how I found out about the site and other things like that.

I found out about GTPlanet back during the days of GT4, back then I would just lurk and use it for tuning guides and look for help if I was stuck on a race or money making tips. Come December 2010 I register (can't remember anything about the old account) and started joining in on some trades and online races with GT5, and then I found RKM Motorsports tuning guide (saved me a lot of times).

Well, I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio USA but unfortunately i am now living somewhere in England ;)

I would have to say it was back when I first got my PS2 during Christmas of 2002 when I got Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec and MX-2002 featuring Ricky Carmichael. Both of those games were really epic!

I enjoy all types of games but I really detest the Call of Duty multiplayer on the home consoles. I use a DS3 controller to play Gran Turismo as I haven't been able to get a steering wheel for it yet (hopefully I can get a G27).

Now that I am apart of GTPlanet I would like to engage in Online tournaments, trades and other things.

Hope to see you on the race track,

Red.

TL;DR: Hi GTPlanet!

PS: My PSN ID is: ReDxHorneT

Cloudy?

Its SUN here. :sly:

If you want to trade, add me on PSN and im sure we can work something out.

Welcome to :gtpflag:

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. I'll probably be on later tonight (hopefully, as my brother is currently on CoD :P).

I'll probably end up sending you a friend request McSoap, but I do not have much to trade as I don't have a lot to offer.

For some reason, I am unable to enter the seasonal events, I get a "No seasonal events found" error message when trying to enter, which is a shame as the seasonal's are a great way to earn some cash.

Regards,

Red.
