What's going on with my kindle fire?

I plugged my kindle into a stereo to play some music, and when I took it out after the song wasn't playing, the kindle suddenly turned off, and won't turn back on. This was with a nearly full battery when I did this.

Help please?

Most tablets and tablet-type devices have some sort of hardware reset mechanism for use in just this kind of situation. Consult the manual for the Fire for specifics. Be aware that this may lose any downloaded content on the device; again, the manual should have more information.
