What's going on!!!!!

OK people can you explain/help with this. For the past four days I have been unable to race in an online room whether a private lounge or an open lounge. I can log on to the PSN but and here's the thing, I connect to a room server then when it goes to joining a room I get a time out error and a "failed to join room" message comes up. I turn off the PS3, my wireless router several times and nothing makes it better. To my knowledge no settings have changed, but in the end I'm seriously cheesed off. Anyone got a guess why or has the last maintenance shutdown done me in? HELP!!!!!!
 
Have you cleared your Network Cache?

1. Wireless is killing you. Skip the router, and hardwire directly to your modem.
2. Sync your time and trophies.
3. Disable custom music.
4. Clear your system cache.
5. Save your progress, then play online.
 
That hapends to me too , and I simply exit the comunity and re-enter 💡
 
OK none of the above has worked. Thanks for trying, as an update my other games let me into online rooms any other suggestions?

Time sync is from this mornings ps3 firmware update automatic
