Whats Saved Online/PS4

Hi Guys,
Probably a silly question but what is saved online and on the PS4? Reason I ask is that if I have to do a complete delete from my console what will be loaded once installed from the online saves? And what would I loose if I delete the two files stored on the PS4. Doing a complete uninstall would that mean I could loose all my new cars along with their liveries etc
 
You lose all cars for sure. Money, miles, your level and rang will stay. But why not upload those 2 files to ps cloud or to a usb.
 
Thanks for that. I have tried saving to a USB for other games but for some reason had some problems with the stick I was using, but I will have a look at the PS Cloud thing.
 
I recently had to restart as I had the glitch that took all my cars away. I also never backed up my save file (I do now). Anyways, I fully deleted the game and any save file that was on my ps4. After I reinstalled it and updated it, it was like a new game with a few exceptions. I could still access all the car liveries I had added to my collection and made (although I can't edit mine anymore) and although I have to redo all the driving school and missions they still showed my times from my old file. It didn't recognize that I had done them though, so I DO have to do them again which is fine because I get the prize car afterwards. So far that's all I've noticed that carried over.
