heya folks!
GTC is awesome huh?!

just some questions:

- whats the whole idea with stopping in the pod zone? is it unloading or something?

- when exactly do they change colours? is it when they get hit?

- and whats the inspiration behind them? are they meant to look like lil puppy dogs?

:lol: Them pods are funny! i think i saw something about them lowering when you stop in the stop zone :confused: can't say i actually saw any difference though . I never noticed they changed colours just the funny noise they make when driving around :lol:
 
The POD's are odd concept city cars from the Tokyo motor show. On the real one the lights changed in accordance with your driving style. if you where driving 'smoothly' (smooth acceleration, steady breaking, no sharp turns & not tailgating people) the lights are blue & green shades.
If you drove aggressively (the opposite of above) the lights changed to Orange & red shades.
 
When you hit a wall, the pod's front goes greeny-blue and when you finish a race they go yellow with green on the sides. that's about it but i haven't tried the hanbrake in a race i don't think it will lower like in the POD race :lol:

Stopping :stopsign: in the Pod Zone I assume is to Recharge? :D
 
The POD's go red when you hit something, not green or blue. And the handbrake does lower the car no matter what race your in.

When the POD's are happy (your driving well) they are blue, when they are sad they are red with orange in between. Their tail also wags when they are happy and goes down when you driving onto the grass.

the pods only make noises when u crash into something. i think the handbrake zone is just to slow u down cause try not stopping u just fly over the ramp and into a wall :p
 
What is that tail thing all about at the back of the pod ? :)
 
I guess the tail is just to add character? :smilewink
Unless it's used as an exhaust :lol:
 
I thought it was to maybe hypnotise the driver in the car behind :lol:
 
the pods are certianly screwed up...and very emotional cars.

Pods are the ugliest cars ever released on the road, they are about as quick as an asthmatic ant with a heavy load shopping.
 
Those cars sound like(i have said before) those irritating little gameboy sounds when you collide with them in the game, i hate em very much.
 
If they come to America (yeah right) I'd get one to piss people off with the sound
