Are you kidding?
OK, my problem is this. Despite having the always logged in function switched on, I'm having to log in, like, every third page. It's getting very irritating, not least because logging in takes you back to the forum home page.
So, can anyone help? Or do I need a new computer? I hope not, because ut's quite new already.

It's definitely on there.

And TTJ, It's nice to know it's happened to other people than just me.

But one odd thing is, it only happens when on GTP. All other forums work fine for me.

I used to have issues like that a year or more ago after we switched to GTP 5. It didn't happen in the GTP Lite version, so I use that.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I tried and still had the same problem.

Maybe you have some sort of internet security software (Norton, McAfee, etc.) which is set ridiculously high and purging your cookies and cache too frequently?

I'd say eggmann's suggestion is the most likely cause of the problem. Try playing around with different security settings and see how it goes.

As far as I know, all I have is Norton Antivirus.
Would that be the problem eggman?

Antivirus software itself shouldn't cause this. Are you sure there's no firewall, pop-up blocker, or white-washing privacy software installed? Some of those are browser add-ons and not stand-alone products (so you'd find their settings in IE). If you've already tried playing around with all applicable security settings then I'd just attribute it to a "freak occurrence" which apparently other users have shared. Hopefullly it's temporary as it was in their experiences. Of course, you could download Firefox, Navigator, or some other alternate browser and see if that helps.

It seems to have stopped...

Edit: Definately has stopped

Thanks for the help eggman:tup:
