I have been doing the Special Stage Route 5 within the Honda Civic Competition seasonal event and earn a suit in just under 5 minutes (best is 4:42.xxx in a 97' Civic (EK) non-RM). Is this the most efficient way to earn a racing suit? I know that the fastest way to earn a helmet & money is with an Enzo on Le Sarthe within the La Festa Cavallino seasonal event, but I could not find much info for suits. I found that most threads that have anything to do with racing suits are all STIG based...

1- Make a 2nd account
2- Save in a pendrive
3- Go to seasonal events and win the time trial and drift challenges
4- Send your suits and helmets to your main account
5- Backup your save
6- Repeat the process from 3th step on.

:)

Would this duplicate my suits? If so, it's not what I'm looking for. I was trying to find the fastest way to earn new suits that I don't have.

I'm pretty sure that's the fastest race for a new suit TP3. The Grand Valley East Reverse race in the World Compacts series can be done in about the same time.

It has a 450pp limit and I usually run a '69 Isuzu Bellett 1600 GT-R to lap times of about 1:10 or less. I haven't experimented, but maybe there is a quicker car than can get near 1:00 a lap and give you an alternative to grinding the same track and still be around 5mins/suit. ;)

But, the ultimate way of gaining suits is to trade cars for them. Usually you can find folks who will send you all 30 suits of a design or more for just one car, since there is no limit to how many suits you can trade in a day. I've gotten a ton of suits that way. ;)

Cool, thank you! I own all of the cars, so I will take out the '69 Isuzu and give it a go. I really am getting a bit tired of the night course...

It's a fun car to drive. As a challenge, I started out with just upgrading the trans to a close ratio 5 speed and adding Sport Soft tires. I gradually increased the hp to about 136hp and found I could win the races with good driving, but eventually, I just tuned it to the max and did some grinding. ;)

I favor FR cars in this game, as the "feel" is more natural to me when the rear slides out a little while turning. I find that I can correct the car more naturally than a MR or FF or 4WD.

I have no problem with actually playing the game but there are 661 suits plus a special so by far the quickest way to get them is trading!!

Thats it.

Time trials and Drift events give you 2 suits and 1 helmet for each gold. So, you win 4 helmets and 8 suits very easily. Then you send those you haven't in your main account and repeat the process.

I can assure you its the faster way to win suits and helmets (apart from trade).

Fastest event to earn a helmet is actually the Tokyo Kart Race in the World Compact Cup Seasonal. I've done 5 laps there in 3 minutes.

With 3 minutes you can gold 2 drift events and win 2 helmets and 4 suits. :)

Or even if you can't reach the gold, you always get 4 suits...

With 3 mins being the target time, the Circuit de La Sarthe Ferrari race is the same amount of time for a helmet and 504K cr.

I'm pretty sure the Compact race is less credits though, but I'm not in front of my PS3 at the moment. 👍

Those prizes are only awarded once though. And duplicating them, just gives you more of the same suits. The OP was looking for the fastest way to earn new suits with every race, not duplicate the same ones.

Good ideas, though. ;)

GoSpeedRacer,

If ou win TT and Drift events, send the stuff and do a backup, you can make it on and on again. And off course win different suits and helmets very quickly. :)

Ah, now I see what you are saying. That is a good idea! 👍

1. Backup save game.
2. Win the TT and Drift Events.
3. Send the suits/helmets to 2nd Account.
4. Restore backup.
5. Repeat 2-4.

Very nice!

Also, given the fact that there are currently two TTs and two Drift Trials available that have two events each, and if you can get gold in all easily, that would be 8 total events = 8 helmets and 16 suits per restored save!

Given the time needed to:
1. Backup the save (1-2mins)
2. Start the game (1-2 mins)
3. Do the trials (time needed depends on driving skill and having to re-enter the Seasonals Menu after quitting each one)
4. Send the items (conservatively, about 2-4 mins to send 20 items)
5. Quit the game (<10secs)
6. Restore the save (<10secs)
7. Start the game (1-2mins)
etc.

You can still probably collect 16 suits and 8 helmets every 15-20mins, give or take. 👍
