What's the point of having the Ferrari F1 Cars?

Seriously, what is the point of owning these cars if you can't use them other than for an online room that has it set to F1 cars only? You can't use them for an Unrestricted lobby but the FGT, which PD say is an F1 car, can enter in it.

There's no good reason for it. Probably something in the licensing that Ferrari didn't want it to be used in certain ways or something.
