Actually it's pretty clear. He opened a thread to talk about the new patch when there were already multiple threads discussing it, no need for another thread on the same topic. It has nothing to do with preventing him from expressing his feelings on a game.

You'll have to ask the mods, but there's already at least 3 threads discussing the update so it's best to just add your comment in one of those rather than create a new thread. That's a general rule around here, and other forums, post in an existing thread on the topic rather than clutter up the forum with more threads on the same topic.

GT sport beeing better... Well that highly depends on what you weigh in a game... Would love to discuss your opinions on it but let's do this in PM as to not clutter the boards...
On the patch multiple threads alive I'd advise to post in those as to not make this out personal microblogsite.
My guess is the other one's already had good discussion going before a mod saw it so they let them continue. I'd expect any new ones to be shut down though.
Then you would know that threads created that are duplicates of existing ones will be locked, and that should you have a question about moderation its best addressed by PMing a member of staff.
