So I was in an online room running Nurb 24hr when I got stuck when the race started.. ie. the typical black screen, nothing new right?

Well the above glitched/popped up.

The top part looks like the countdown for voting on a track.. again nothing unusual and it's conceivable.

But the bottom part?? Team mate? Some kind of feature that was left out but half programmed in?

It's rare, for sure. Interesting? If you're an aspiring game developer, sure! Otherwise, just another GT5 bug.

Well, it does say 'teammate'. I'm pretty sure it doesn't say that in bspec. That would mean it's a new (or cancelled) feature which is only partially in the game.

On second thought, there was supposed to be a co-driver in the rally races. But then GT5 was released early.

Rally co-driver is the guy who reads your pace notes. He wouldn't be named in the game because his name doesn't matter. It isn't like having different drivers with different skill levels where it matters who he is.

Also, GT5 wasn't released early. PD just took way too long to do too little; nobody's fault but theirs, and they didn't need more time but rather needed more talent.

Can't see the pic worth a crap on my phone, but sounds like a scrapped feature.

I imagine it's what GT6 will be like.

We shall see. GT6 will make or break the series. Let's hope it makes it, but I don't count on anything these days.
