Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is John and I am from Philly but staying in Jersey for the time being. I have been sim racing for about a year and a half off and on now. Primarily on the PC with Race 07, STCC and Evo.
I used to run GT Legends and rFactor along with iRacing but now I like to stick to no more than 2 sims at a time. To tell ya the truth what got me hooked in the first place was Forza motorsport 2. I picked it up along with the microsoft wheel (POS) and that was the start of it all.
Many moons ago I did have a wheel hooked up to my old PC running one of the first need for speeds. No cockpit view with that one but it was the first time I experienced force feedback and loved it.
I am using the DFGT with my PC and GT5. I plan on upgrading to the Fanatec GT2 with clubsport peddles as soon as I get my income tax return.
I just picked up GT5 and am only about 20% in and I am trying like hell to get used to the extremely touchy brake!!!
I'll be practicing and I'm sure I'll be posting in the forum with plenty of questions as I progress through this sim.
