Whats up with the black screens?

We all hate black screens. But they mostly happen in NASCAR, so whats up with the servers? Do they not like Daytona or Nascars? Please give me some answers on how to avoid the dreadful black screen. I already know staying in the pits, but that doesn't work sometimes.
 
Apparently the false start check causes some issues with black screening when it's on, I have nothing to back this up though! Aside from this (maybe!) I think it's probably just lag/connection issues.

It's about connection issues and such. Staying in the pits doesn't actually help that much.

In my experience if I'm hosting a lobby and everyone goes to the pits as the timer is counting down, then the black screen lasts a second or two instead of 10+ seconds.
