Ambiguous Thread Title Disease is usually recognized by symptoms such as the inability to create thread titles that have anything to do with the subject of the thread.
To answer your question, you have the "Use 'Email Notification' by default?" option set to "yes" in your profile settings. Go to "My GTPlanet" > "Edit Options" > and select "no" next to the "Use 'Email Notification' by default?" option.
