Like it says. If you had one day to drive either a F1, WRC, Top Fuel Dragster, or Nascar for as long as you could handle which would you pick? I'm curious as to what the GTP members are more into.

Me personally, I would have to say a Formula 1 car but with WRC in a very close second. The main reason I picked the Formula one is because I know I could never in my life be in any faster or more amazing machine.

None of us could handle an F1 car at anything but a laughable pace. I voted WRC. You don't have to know exactly what you're doing to have fun driving an AWD compact through mud and everything else. Top fuel might be fun once. I think that would be more nerve wracking than enjoyable. And Nascar...

Yeah, sorry about that, I definitely should've added JGTC and DTM but I was thinking more along the lines of the best/most popular of each world.
Circuit-F1
Drag-Top Fuel
Oval-Nascar
Offroad-WRC

If I would've added JGTC and DTM then you know I would've had to add Le Mans cars too. Then the category of circuit racing would've been skewed.

@Eric,
I hear what your saying about the F1 cars but I really don't think any of us could handle a WRC car on dirt or snow either. At least not at any pace that would be even competitive. But would be fun and feel ridiculously fast going at our turtle like speeds. lol

One job in the racing world I could never be is a WRC co-pilot. I am wayyy too much of a control freak to do that. I can't even hardly stand to be a passenger with some of my friends driving let alone somebody pushing the cars limits.

Considering you can actually drive a WRC car normally as opposed to any other top-shelf racing vehicle...

Hey, you didn't say HOW I would drive it! Sheesh.

You mean the Impalas, Chargers, Fusions, and Camrys on dealer lots arent the same ones that Jeff Gordon, Kurt Busch, Carl Edwards, and Denny Hamlin drive on Sundays? News to me. :p

I voted Nascar, would be more fun.

Formula 1 is too scary, Top Fuel is too scary, and Nascar is not my idea of fun.

I think a WRC drive would be the most fun.

I'll take a drive in a (NASCAR) COT with only one rule: I get to do it at Sonoma. Or Road America. Either would be acceptable.

I chose for F1. If there were other choices like DTM, Touring cars, FIA GTR cars, it would be much harder to choose.

I'm also very much interested in these cars;

Legends Cars

Yeah, I don't know much about those Legends cars. I seen that was one of the beginner vehicles on iracing and was curious about them but never did the research. Probably b/c my interest in iracing stopped when I saw the price. lol

Since my answer is really 'none of the above' I'll pick NASCAR. Presumably it's not that different from the M6 toll.

I voted WRC. After seeing Hammond attempt to drive an F1 car, I'm sure I'd fail to get any pace, get really frustrated and end up stuffing it into a wall.

And especially if Group B is in the running, definitely WRC.

They're little motorcycle-engined tube-frame race cars. With different bodies, they can be Mit-Jets or Aussie Racing Cars, too.

F1. Though it would be an extremely tough task to drive it. The G-forces in the corners make holding up your head extremely hard. And that's if you're fast enough to warm up the tires so you don't spin out. Many other factors would contribute to the herculean task that is driving an F1 car. If I could do so and be able to drive decently, then that's what I would do. But another great experience that isn't on the list, that I would rather do, is driving Risi Competezione's Ferrari 430 GT2 car, which runs in the ALMS. The sound alone would make it enough for me to put it up there among the most amazing driving experiences. Maybe one day... :)-kevin

I'll take 60's Le Mans in the rain in a 1500hp turbopanzer 917.....

Here's my list:

1. Touring cars. DTM, JGTC, Any of those.

2. WRC, but including Baja and Dakar racers. That would be awesome.

3. F1, or closer, open wheel racers. I'd probably go for Formula Nippon. Better looking cars.

4: LeMans prototype racing. Yummy yummy.

5: Those Legends cars up there look pretty fun.

I am by no means saying I'd be an ace after getting into a Formula 1 car, but with how I operate, I'd be able to get those tires warm by throwing caution to the wind. My neck would give out, and I'd probably crash, but I'd get those tires nice and warm.

And, I'd have to choose WRC.

If its a fantasy, there shouldn't even be a poll... My fantasy would to own a Château in the village of Nurburg. Since its my fantasy i would have a stable of my favorite car's to take on the Nordscleife!

Being a pro race driver would be cool, but in my fantasy i don't want a job!

Oh wait... cars?! :O

I'm not going with the poll options. Personally, I'd go for something like a drive in a Super2000-spec BMW 320is in the WTCC or BTCC. Touring cars has always been my favourite motorsport so I'd want to take a touring car around the circuits I've watched them race on since I knew what touring cars were. I'd also like a crack in Tim Harvey and Alain Menu's 1994 Renault Laguna BTCC cars.

Next up, failing the BTCC thing, I'd want to have a go in Colin McRae's 1995 world championship-winning Subaru Impreza, around a classic RAC Rally stage like Kielder or Penmachno.

Oh, sod it, we'll have an F1 car in there too. The 1994 (the mid nineties seem to define motorsport for me...) Ferrari 412 as driven by Jean Alesi and Gehard Berger. The V12 sings like few other engines ever.

I chose WRC. I don't think F1 would give me the same level of satisfaction and I don't follow dragsters or NASCAR.

However, I did choose this thinking if I was a pro driver for either of them, or at least as fast as the best there are. Otherwise F1 gets made pretty much redundant as Top Gear showed with Hammond driving the F1 car. It was pretty much impossible.
