Its impossible to classify what a "super car" is. Is it anything with over 500 hp? Is it any Italian sports car like Ferrari and Lamborgini? And what about tuning rules? I mean, you could go out in a race moded Integra and go faster than a Ferrari scuderia. :yuck: What about tires? I mean seriously race softs are not road legal, and most of these cars would come with comforts, hard tires for fuel economy and what not.

More interesting would be the fastest lap in a real car that exists in real life (all excluding the X2010.) I did a 1:03 in the Ferrari F10.

no ferraris or lambos, or gtr35, or rufs, and only sport tires, and tuning rules are stock or below 400HP

I'll run a Vette ZR1 to compare it to the Viper ACR. 💡 But a car less than 400 hp...thats a toughy. I suppose the Camaro might be below that.

it's not actually that hard.
supercars are super-high performance street legal cars.

a Ford GT is a supercar.
a Ford Mustang GT is not.

a Lexus LF-A is a supercar.
Chevrolet Camaro is not.

a Lamborghini Murcielago is a supercar.
a Mini Cooper is not.

Yeah but then you have to define "high performance". Is it anything over 500 horsepower, is it anything with a high power to weight ratio?

Most people consider the NSX a supercar even though it has 30 HP less than a Mustang GT, and a Mustang GT is not a supercar.

Yeah but then you have to define "high performance".

seriously?

the definition for "high performance": having the quality of performing exceptionally well

it's honestly not that complicated.

only one of the following cars is a supercar. the other is a sports car.

Pagani Zonda F
Nissan 350Z

that's not a concrete definition.

lets me ask you, between a Lamboghini Murcielago and a 911 GT3 RS, which a supercar?

Off the top of my head (this was some weeks ago), I did 1:26'XXX with a '69 Camaro RM.

Definitions from Urban Dictionary

Super Car
Very expensive, very fast p:censored: extension

Hyper Car
Often mistaken for Super cars. Both are very expensive but Super cars are designed for messing with G-Forces while Hyper cars are designed for messing with G-Strings.

Hope this sheds some light on the matter

I could take a RM'd Civic and run faster laps at the Nurburgring than a Ferrari Enzo.

For lap comparisons or TT competitions you need to have a weight and HP limit. That way there's no back and forth between what is OK and what isnt.

Its like comparing Sled Dogs to Golden Retrievers.
