I finally got my vettel paint X1 after spent 3 hours of bronzing all 3 courses today. I then took my X1 to the Nürburgring Nordschleife for a quick ride. I got timed 4:39 with driving little bit too cautious and few careless mistakes. I believe I can take my X1 down to maybe 4:25 if I am more familiar with it. This monster is just too hard to drive on Nürburgring.

I wonder is there any sub 4 mins X1 flying on Nürburgring? I believe it's possible since there are so many godly-skilled players in this forum.

7 minutes while going off each corner lol.

Ha ha. I know what you mean. The speed makes it hard to keep it on the track. You need to know the track like the back of your hand and have the reaction time of Bruce Lee.

5 minutes or so, I really can't drive this thing on the Nordschleife with all those bumps on the road. My wheel just keeps shaking the entire race, very annoying. Could probably set a better time anyway but I don't even want to drive it anymore on the Nordschleife. Same for La Sarthe btw.

I absolutely refuse to use the X1 in this game.
Used it for the Vettel Challenge, Golded it and tossed that horrible arcade car in a corner.
My fastest time on ring is 5:20.007 (aarrgg 0.008 secs too much) in a Group C though.

3:32 or something.

Haven't really tried. It's more about memorizing the speed and steering input to go fast, than feeling the cars reactions to the track and acting accordingly, so I don't like it.

I'd like to practice with it, but I can't help but feeling that the bumpy road + high downforce is a lot harder on the FFB motor than normal cars, and I'd like for my wheel to last for x years >_<

Trouble with the X2010 is that if you have to think about a corner, you're already off, or you're going too slow.

I did a 5:20, but I reckon if I wasted as much time with it as I have for the Vettel Challenge I could get it lower. But not while Suzuka & Nurb GP gold are still outstanding, as at least there's further benefit in achieving these.

My cousin has done it in about 4:45.....my best was a 5:15 or so. I have seen a 3:19 on youtube....that dude was moving....

i did a 4.13 with ds3 on my first and only go at it.. If i ever get bored i mite go back and see what i can do with my dfgt..

Mine was a 4:07 with a DS3, but I only did it a couple of times. I know some people are adverse to driving it because it's unrealistic, but I think it's fun sometimes to throw it around the different tracks just to see if a clean ride is possible. My last project with it was on Tokyo. I can ride it cleanly through the track at almost full throttle with a few exceptions (turn 1 and the last turn before the straight). Too bad I can't rack up money for practice runs... I think Gar did a 3:19 or something on utube. I believe he may be a GTPlanet member. He was one of the finalist in the US Poly Dig qualifying I think - crazy fast.
