Im talking about a place, where you would be at ultimate peace. It could be inside your car listening to music or on the beach. Anything goes. Mine would be on top of a hill, laying in a hammock enjoying a cool breeze.

Whats yours?

A garden on a Summer's day, with some friends and some good music playing in the background - perhaps some drinks and food. I wouldn't be talking much, I'd just be taking in the atmosphere - that gradual gradation from light to dark, the drop in temperature, the need to wear more layers, yet the conversation doesn't run dry. I think those are the times when I've been the most relaxed and carefree.

Grassy cliff on Themyscira overlooking the main forum and the water with an unlimited supply of gin, tonic, and dry ice. I know the ladies there aren't too fond of men, but they'll come around.

IRL, probably somewhere on a sailboat.

Hmm, tough to pick a spot. One good one for me is sitting in the living room on a snowy day and reading a good book in silence (the house has to be empty).

Uhm, a nice day on the beach with friends, a certain specific group of friends so there's no hyper-masculine competitiveness which pisses me off.

EDIT: If I had a private rink or something, with the same group of friends that would be relaxing in the mental sense, not so much the physical sense.

On a beach at the Cook Islands. Far away from everything.

Middle of a snowy field on a clear night. Quiet and beautiful in its simplicity.

In B4 sum 1 sez 'On tha Ring in GT5!1!'

On a slightly more serious note, there are many places I could mention, but speaking about personal experience, it would be on a Mediterranean island while the sun sets, drinking a few beers with my friends.

Under running water. Sitting in the shower with the running water over my head I find very relaxing, but a proper thing in a tropical location in some sort of resort maybe would be ultimately ideal.

Don't judge me!

Either back with the family in Europe or on the deck watching the sun go down while smoking a nice cigar w/ a drink listening to classic rock; cliche, but it beats a hard day.

BBQin' and laying in a Hammock somewhere here:

At a bay at dusk. In a lounge lawn-chair. With a dock in front, small fire-pit (or some sort of soft-light) on my right side, a table with a dark beer and ashtray on my left, and a book in hand.

I got really relaxed just typing it.

Porto Santo island.

I mean, there are probably better places, but this is the one place where I can fully relax, away from everything. Fantastic beaches as well.

A nice summers day at some Dirt Jumps with my friends. Some drinks and snacks chilling in the shade, everyone is just having a laugh.

My Ideal relaxation spot would be here. Clear night (after the sun set) maybe a nice beachside frie going, cookin up some steaks over the fire, drinks with friends. It would have to be warm as i hate the cold, (unless its dealing with my other relaxing spot lol) I have always loved the beach.

My 2nd Location would be a freezing cold winter night, snuggled up with the Wife infront of a cozy warm fire at a cottage like the one pictured bove up in the Mountains farrrrrr away from anyone. peace and quiet just utter silence (aside from teh crackling fire or soft music on the radio)

*sigh* Someday....

Mine would be sitting on the top of a large hill (mount springfield from the simpsons, esque) with a load of mates, some girls, cigars and alcohol, just watching the sunset and watching life going by inderneath. To me that is heaven.

On a quiet beach somewhere with mountains in the distance off to the side. Add a nice cool breeze, whatever food and drinks that suit my fancy at that time and a few good friends. Good food, good friends and laughter is is all I need.

Probably taking the dog for a walk up the local volcano (dw, it's extinct )
Sitting in the grass up there in Autumn or Winter is very cooling and relaxing when it's not raining.
And this is the mountain - not that massive. But only in Auckland (there's about 50 )

Two locations actually,

First, my room, in my bed asleep or getting some gaming on.

Second and last, its driving in my car, with the music on shuffle and just drive whenever I feel like, no destination, and on shuffle!

The last option though will cost you alot more, I think. Gas vs electric bill:nervous:

Two Places.... Gulf Shores, AL/Orange Beach, AL/Foley, AL (better known as Lower Alabama).. Very beautiful place to go on vacation and my parents have a home in Foley which is eight miles from the beach but still very relaxing especially with a good book or my laptop. The second place is my backyard up north in Angola, IN especially with a clear starry sky in the summer. Very nice and relaxing. :D --- Randy

Nothing gets me more relaxed than listening to my favorite music. I can play "The Great Gig in the Sky" by Pink Floyd on my iPod and I can be in peace basically everywhere. Music takes me places like nothing else can, it's an amazing feeling.

Other than that I feel best when running on some Pink Floyd during the evening after a hot summer's day when everything has settled down after the heat and gets quiet and calm. You'd argue exercising is not a form of relaxation, but for me it creates possibly the best feeling.

At any given time during the year I look forward to the summer when I have been out swimming in the lake the entire day, and during the evening I tend to go for a walk in the woods all by myself to reflect over the day. At times like these I start reflecting over everything that has happened the past year and my environment in general. I guess the air after a hot day in the summer gives me a sense of calmness or peace as I'd like to call it.

Put me anywhere on the planet, but I wouldn't be any more relaxed than at the points written above.

The local bowling center, because I love the sport. Also being in my room writing my fictional football book (currently stuck), listening to music or playing video games, heck, even when I'm sleeping. Those are cool locations for relaxation, in my opinion.
