As the title says, what's your most epic race win ever.

Mine was in Korea in grand prix mode (as Felipe Massa), where i qualified sixth and took the lead by the end of the lap. I made my first pitstop and was held up. I came out in 16th position. Even after the first rounds of pitstops I was only in 10th position. So i decided to ignore my scheduled pitstop and went for 6 more laps, at the end of this my tires were destroyed. While leading on the 16th lap, I spun out coming out of the last corner and lost my front wing. Almost immediately afterwards a safety car came out (six car pile up involving Button, Hamilton, Petrov, Heidfeld, Kobayashi and Perez). I rejoined in twelfth behind the safety car. When the safety car went back in, 6 people went into the pits and I was 6th. Again I went 4 more laps then necessary and then pitted. I came out second and was 5 seconds behind Rosberg with 3 laps left. Overtook him on the last lap and won the race. :)

(Sorry there's no video)

F1 2010 Career Mode Race @ Spa (Legend difficulty, I am using the HRT)

While I had the lead the whole race, the rain began to fall with few laps to go. The gamble was to stay out or put on inters. I chose to stay out. My pace deteriorated and Alonso began to catch me up. On the last lap I went into the gravel at Stavelot and Alonso got past. I was able to recover as we were on the run to the last corner of the race. I took the gamble and went to the inside to outbrake him at the bus-stop. The ploy worked and I was able to make the pass on the last corner and win by less than half a second.

I went nuts after I won that race, because I thought I wasn't going to recover and take back the lead with how much of the race was left, or lack thereof.

turn on tyre simulation and they are all epic wins.

As long as you win.

I once was recently in the Force India in Career on Expert 20% race. Qualifyied in 8th. By the end of the first sector I was in first. Held first for the entire race until the second to last corner on the last lap. I braked too late and ran wide in the second to last corner. Massa went up the inside. We brake for the final corner, I'm on the inside about half a cars length behind him...

...He completely ruins everything!!! He turns in to get the apex while I'm already there! Who does he think I am, Hamilton??? We both crash and spin out and die in a fiery explosion. :ouch: To make things worse, I get a penalty. It was horrible. I finished in 11th, honestly don't care who won or where Massa finished. All I know is that Massa is crazy.

It was regular career and I was in my second year with Mercedes. It was at Abu Dhabi and a beautiful night at that. I qualified ninth and started ok. I gained and lost a few spots throughout the race. It came down to nine laps to go. I made a good surge and managed to move into 5th but my tires were worn. Everyone else went to the pits, and hoping to pull out a miracle, I stayed out on primes. With a lap and a half to go, I was in first with Vettel a little more than a second behind. He got me with the DRS on the last lap but I stayed close behind. Going into the last turn, he had the inside line so I tried a high low move. When I made my break to the inside in the middle of the turn, I felt the rear tires lose grip. I let up on the gas and turned out. As soon as I got grip I put the pedal to the floor and used my kers. I performed a drift right around vettel and stuck my car directly in front of his causing him to lose his momentum and allowing me to hold him to the finish. A little luck and skill made this one.

Well, it's not very epic but in 2010 i absolutely loved my race@Melbourne with Force India. Was raining really hard and it was so awesome to slowly see my lap times improving as i slowly pushed harder through each of the turns each lap. Closest i ever got to dropping the lead was when Vettel caught me down the front straight but spun out after pushing too hard through turn 1... But the steady improvement in lap times was fun enough for me :D

I just finished my Second Season of my First Career last night. Racing for Sauber. The Driver's Championship has been close all season, and then in the last lap of Abu Dhabi I got a penalty for cutting across the front of Rosberg and got a 20 second penalty and finished 6th. So, last race of second season. I am only 2 points ahead of Rosberg for the championship so I have to win. Brazil. Rain. I qualify second behind my rival Rosberg. After 18 laps it starts to dry out. I stay out one lap too long on the inters and when I pit for options I come out behind Kamui Kobayashi, my teammate, in first and Rosberg second. I am within 2.0 of Rosberg. I fight up to second place and have to work HARD to stay there. Each lap he gets even on the front straight but I stay out front. Massa is on both of us and even overtakes Rosberg on the penultimate lap but clearly Rosberg wants the title. Meanwhile Kamui pulls out a 4.00 second lead! He hasn't won anything all season. Not even a pole position! As I make the final fast turns I can hear that Merc SCREAMING on my left rear wheel but I held it and beat him by .059 seconds. I win the title and Sauber takes third in the constructors championship. My hands were shaking and I was smiling uncontrollably for 20 minutes on.
If I wasn't hooked on this game before, you can bet I am now! I NEVER got this excited in GT5. fantastic.
What I think is so cool, is that the result is very Vettel-Webber Brazil 2011. I could not believe that Kamui won that race. I needed to get more points than Rosberg, but having a 1-2 finish for the team was even better. This sort of strategy-drama never happens in GT5, and that is too bad. I only make the comparison because I spent every day from Nov. 24, 2010 to Xmas 2011 playing GT5, but since then I have only been doing F1. I may not go back. This is just too exciting to complicate the driving with the strategy and drama.
End of diatribe.

True, the feeling of actually racing against the A.I doesn't come across. I'm only really doing the endurance races (haven't done them yet) which, in my opinion, are the most exciting if you use a balanced car. But F1 2011 wipes the floor when it comes to wheel to wheel racing.

After Lap 95 at Daytona. I was driving my fully tuned GDI Montero (Pajero Evolution '03) and it's kind of hard to get it on with other cars that have higher PP than it. Btw, that car was the slowest in that race, even when fully tuned.

My most epic win ever was in f1 2011 on hard. I was (and still am) in the no. 22 HRT car. It was a race at the catalunya track, I qualified on pole and went on to win the race by 7 seconds over hamilton and 8 seconds over vettel. Since then I have reached 5 more poles and 4 or 5 more wins. I currently stand in 6th place for the drivers championship and all my points have given me 4th in the constructors championship.
