I have read his Biggest Secret book and I haven't made up my mind. Overall I'm skeptical and plan to read more books, if they aren't as repetitive as reviewers say, before I either reject his work or embrace it, no middle road.

So, what's your take on his claims?

If David Icke was a throat sweet, he'd be menthol. If he were a cheese, he'd be Emmenthal.

David who?

Nut job who thought thinks he is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. He was an actor, but after his 'revelations' in the 70's, he was very quickly ridiculed and distanced from.

Woo hoo! Half a point!

He did an appearence on HIGNFY once. Seemed 'normal' enough, Merton gave him a bit of stick if I remember.

Don't get me wrong, he is a 'normal' enough guy, but you have to question the sanity of someone who claims to be a person we have no definite proof even existed 2000 years ago. Paul Merton is nothing but a bully, and I don't find him funny at all.

Agree on your first sentence, and kinda agree on your second. Merton's a genius; I like him but he can be very harsh at times, but I enjoy it too. Plus he's done some interesting 'serious' documentaries on Variety, Silent Comics and India & China.

But yes, Icke is probably on the wrong side of sane.

I thought he was insane when I read that he proclaimed to be the "son of God" in a show but I think they overstretched it. He meant he is one of the sons of god after the change in path he made.

And c'mon people, only 2 people have opinion of David Icke?
