This really bothers me... the wheel in cockpit view only turns like 60 degrees when you are really turning your wheel more than 90:crazy:.... I wish the animation wheel in-game would sync up to your real-time wheel, not to mention the wheel lag for the animation to catch up to your wheel. :indiff:

This makes me wonder how many degrees the wheel actually works up to, because it is impossible to be 900 degrees, anyone know?

There was a Old Video when Kaz play GT5 before Prologue demo, and the Wheel motion was 900 Degrees. So we ganna see this feature in full GT5 game...
As for lag, Its improved over Demo, and it's not that bad even.

900 degree incar wheel would indeed be much better. 180 degrees only makes it look horribly arcade, even when you are focusing at where you are going.

Strange, strange PD decisions.

No right now game only offers 180 degrees to 200.. But I am sure Full GT5 game will have 900 degree function. they just want the Hand animations to look a lot better and fluid.

Its called deciding to fix it. They took out the 900 degree steering animation so they could fix it, apparently it didnt work so well in some cases.

Yes, they were having trouble with the hand animations crossing arms etc so they didnt use it. Right decision imo.

PD should make use of the PSEye to animate the movements of your own hands in real time ingame.

Fixing it would have been making new driver hand animations. Not taking it out and replacing it with an arcade looking animation.

I meant that they took it out to fix the animations, and so theyve left us with what weve got now because its good enough until they have a working crossing-hands animation. Obviously, they are not planning to leave the animation as it is for the full GT5 or even for the rest of the life of Prologue.

What I love is my hand going away to shift when I shifted early cause the car needs it...where'd it go? lol. I will double check to see if the wheel matches my G25, I didn't think it did but then again I was just in a daze anyway 👍

I thought this thread was going to be about wheels, like the things the car rides on :P

I have issues with those. Take a look at the tuned skyline coupe from a standing start. The wheels go from a mat finish to super shiny depending on whether the car is moving or not. But thats another thread i guess :)
