Back when I was playing a lot of GT5 I purchased a Logitech Driving Force GT wheel and loved it. However, last Christmas we picked up an X360 and I've been spending a lot of time playing Forza 4 and Forza Horizon - so much so that I'd like to get away from using the controller and move to a wheel.

Is there a good, decently-priced wheel that is compatible on BOTH the PS3 and X360?

Thanks!

Explain "decently priced". How much are you willing to spend? Because really, if you want a good wheel that works with both PS3 AND Xbox 360, your only option are Fanatec wheels. And they can be quite expensive.

I suppose "decently priced" would be in the $150 range - even though my DFGT was listed at $130, I got it on sale for $99.

Basically I need to be able to sell my wife on the idea of purchasing another wheel, though some of the purchase price would be offset by selling the DFGT.

The only thing I can suggest is to go to Fanatec's website and look at their prices. That have quite a selection so some things will cost more than others. But unlike with Logitech, you have to buy the wheel, pedals, etc. as separate items. It's not all going to come in one box.

Just for reference, I bought the Fanatec CSR, elite pedals, shifter set and the Wheel Stand Pro and all of that was in the $500 range. Those aren't the most or least expensive items you can buy but I just wanted to give you an idea of how much money you might have to spend depending on what you want. If you can live without the wheel stand for example, that may help you.

If on a budget, look around for the original Microsoft 360 wheel. I found one on Ebay. Not as fancy as the Fanatec, but hundreds less. Under $150 I've seen them-new. Less than that used. Bought it to replace my old one that was worn out. Tweak the settings, and it works like a charm.
