Has PD ever stated why only certain wheels are available on certain cars? Some premium models have a huge selection of wheels while others have very few, for instance the R34 has an awful selection..no TE37s, RGs, while other cars have the same and more...i doubt they would go as far as to limit wheels by lug setup but who knows.
 
Yeah I don't understand this. In my opinion those rims look pretty ugly.
 
It's not real specs because there are wheels in the game that you can't put on some cars where in real life you can. Enkei RPF01s for example are available in a ton of fitments, but are only available on a few cars in the game. There are even some models like the BMW M3 which has the same bolt pattern as the M5, but they have different wheels.

I expect, like most other things in this game, it was fairly arbitrary.
