Ok, so I think the answer is going to be no, but I was wondering if there's a way to get Fanatec, or even G27 pedals to work with the DFGT, ON THE PS3

I know Fanatec pedals will work with the DFGT on the PC, even the clutch. I also know that you can get an adapter for the G27 pedals (or DFGT/DFP pedals) that allow you to plug them directly into a computer as well, but I'm wondering if there's a way to get G27, or fanatec pedals to work with the DFGT on ps3?

Has anyone figured out how to wire fanatec/g27 pedals to the DFGT connector in a way that it wll work on ps3?

I was thinking since the G27 pedals and maybe even the fanatecs both utilize potentiometers for the pedal sensors, they should have similar signal flow to the DFGT pedals, and therefore could possibly be connected, to the DFGT type connector.

I'm no electrician, so I don't know if I could figure out whether it's possible or not, but I know I could connect the wires to the DFGT type multipin connector, so although it's a shot in the dark for sure, has anyone debunked the mystery of the better alternative to the infamously crappy DFGT pedals?

Like I said, I'm thinking the answers no, but I figure if anyone knows, they may visit GTP. Where's Steven Hawking when you need him? or Chuck Norris?

It is more than possible to wire G27/5 pedals and have them work on a DFGT, in fact, many people use this setup. The clutch won't ever work though unless you connect the directly to the PC. The Fanatecs? I don't know.

There are some other, more detailed wiring guides out there that you can search for that won't require you to drill a hole on your DFGT. You can do it with an old serial cable.

Or you could buy the more expensive DFGT compatible ECCI pedals, they plug into the DFGT and work with PS3 if you buy the right ones.

lol yea I know how much the ECCI wheels cost so I can imagine, the pedals would be way out of my budget.

If I had even 250 to spare, I'd just get the CSR bundle from fanatec but I'm trying to minimize the money I spend.

Thank you.

Yea I didn't think I'd have to drill anything, probably just change out the connectors.

It is a simple hookup, you need a set (gas and brake) of G27 pedals and your original wiring to your DFGT pedals. I'm at work right now so I cannot post any pics, but I have pics in a couple of threads if you happen to search, I will post connection pics later.
