Hey fellow gtp user.
Im having strange problems with my Wheels, I have used the T500 Rs on GT5 for a long time and been forced to use manuel calibration so very often. Then I suddenly got axis/rotation angle issues - The thing was that my Wheel Lock to the left came on too late, and too soon to the right. Giving me more than 450dg on left and less than 450dg when turning right. Centering was spot on tho!. This also accured on pc. Ive sent a video to TS and im now waiting for the follow up.

So today I picked up a second-hand G25 Wheel, mounted it on my Wheel stand pro and started the PS3 for some GT5! But with less than one lap off drift on Tsukuba I noticed something - when driving straight my Wheel came off alignment so the Wheel was turned left when it should be centrerd. Also the Wheel Lock problem ive had one the T500 is now acurring on the G25! . I can pause game, disconnect & connect but after half a lap it losses its centering spot and gives me the Lock issues (off course there is no >450dg to the left). (Everything is fine on PC btw)

UPDATE: Formated the PS3 (using quick-format), updated the system - installed GT5 and updated it to 2.11 - I wished this would do the the trick, but no. After some laps the Wheel got a Whole 90dg off its center! - Also tryed GRID and I get the same problem there.

Update 2 Problem found!
Everything wasnt fine on PC - It did exactly the same thing on LFS. So looked up G25 calibration problems, and it seems the G25/G27 Wheels have a sore spot around the Optical Encoder Disc - The plastic disc´s have a tendency to crack! Disassembled the Wheel to take a look and off course it had a big crack. The good thing is there is a Company called CM Laser service i Thailand that makes new encoder disc' s cut in brass for 37$ including shipping World wide! Gonna buy this and hopefully i wont see a cracked disc ever Again. Special thanks too mikeschmeeedotcom at Youtube for making his "How to ..." videos and naming CM Laser service.

Have a nice day!

Have a go at the options menu as you start the game up - see if there's any options there. I use a DFGT and I've never had problems so unfortunately I can't give you a sure fire fix. If there's nothing you can do on the options menu and nobody else here can offer a fix, try googling it.

Been in the GT5 options menu but didnt see anything that i tought would help.

I havent heard off anyone with this problem, so might be on my own.
