What's the best wheel settings for F1 2011. I'm using the new Fanatec CSR wheel, but have not upgraded the firmware yet. I am also playing it on xbox. Compared to Forza there is very little feedback that I can really feel. In Forza as the cars tires grip increases the wheel gets heavier and heavier. Then if it looses grip the wheel gets real loose. In F1 2011 it feels like all the wheel does is snap back and forth real quick. I'm trying to get the settings where I can feel the grip adding up like it does in Forza. I hope my description helps. Thanks!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: it all comes down to your preference and how you'd like the wheel to behave. That's what I'm using / used when I had a DFGT:

DFGT
Steering Deadzone 0%
Steering Saturation 0%
Steering Linearity 30%
Throttle Deadzone 0%
Throttle Saturation 0%
Brake Deadzone 0%
Brake Saturation 0%

Feedback ON
Environmental Effects 70%
Feedback Strength 40%
Wheel Weight 100%

T500RS F1
Steering Deadzone 0%
Steering Saturation 0%
Steering Linearity 30%
Throttle Deadzone 0%
Throttle Saturation 0%
Brake Deadzone 0%
Brake Saturation 0%

Feedback ON
Environmental Effects 100%
Feedback Strength 70%
Wheel Weight 100%

Keep in mind that even minor changes might improve the driving experience a lot for you.

Steering: 220-270 (Your preference)
FFB: 100
VIB/SHK: 50
ABS: 85-90 (Your preference)
SPR: 2-3 (Your preference)
DPR: -3 (This is a key setting which Fanatec suggests on their support page)

Also, try a dead-zone of about 2-4 on wheel.

In-game
Environmental: 10 or 20
FFB strength: 10 or 20
Wheel weight: 10-40 (I use 40)

If not otherwise noted 0 or off (ensure all game settings are minimal or off and adjust on the wheel; this allows the wheel to produce more precise FFB). These are off the top of my head settings that I use on my CSR.

DO NOT OVERSATURATE THE WHEEL WITH HUGE IN-GAME ENVIRO, FFB, AND WEIGHT SETTINGS!

Other than that have fun. Also, be easy on the d-pad joystick. Mine broke and I am waiting on support.
