Hey folks, I'm wanting to buy a wheel stand. My current setup is fine. I got my DFGT hooked to a walmart style tv tray. Something like this:

As you can imagine, its not the sturdy. If I have to make a fast adjustment I almost knock the thing over. Anyways, I'm looking to purchase a good wheel stand and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. If I was single I'd make myself a cockpit like those you see on youtube. But the wife made it clear that it can't be an eye sore. I was thinking about this one:

But I'm concerned with it not being very stable and top heavy, although I could be wrong. I would love some suggestions. Thanks.

I just got my Wheel Stand Pro in the mail a couple of weeks ago and it's great. I was using my coffee table before which was too low and giving me back problems! The Wheel Stand Pro is very steady, won't break your bank account, has lots of configuration/adjusting ability, folds away pretty handily when your significant other gets frustrated! All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it!

My WSP just arrived from Poland. The thing is built like a tank. Rock-solid, this thing could survive an A-bomb blast.

Awesome, I guess that seals it. I was thinking about this one but was concerned about stability but if you guys like it I'm going for it. Thanks for the replies. Sorry I didn't post this in the right forum, I didn't look hard enough hehe.

I ordered mine just before Christmas in anticipation of GT5 and never regretted it once. I use mine with a Logitech DF GT also.
even in Rally style driving, (rapid sawing motions on the wheel) you get very slight movement if any.

a very fine product. 👍

LOL, my old G25 ripped the screws right out of those wooden TV trays, it also often lifted one side of the table up off the ground, ah good 'ol days....

I'll have had my WSP for 3 years in a months time and it's been a brilliant purchase.

It's stable enough to cope with a G25 with the FF set to 10. The only thing it's struggled with in GT5 is my G27 and the X1 with FF any higher than 1... though I have friends with proper rigs that have the same issue.

And it sounds like my wife's the same as yours... so it keeps my wheel out of the way when not in use.

Go ahead and buy one, you'll not regret it 👍

Exactly the same for me except I got it for the DFGT originally. When I upgraded to the G27, I was able to purchase the pedal and shifter mount separately for about £28 from them.

i have had my WSP for 4 months now and can only recommend it.

It's sturdy and not "wubberly" , and it's easily mod-able too, it's actually better to just buy the cheap logitech wheelstand(DFGT) and just mod it cheaply, should you want to upgrade your steering wheel later, as mostly it takes some wood planks to fit along the others.

Not to mention the biggest advantage, very very practical.

If you want sturdy I'd say go with the Rennsport Wheelstand I picked it over the WSP because it was so much sturdier and looked nicer too!

I wouldnt say that Rennsport is sturdier over WSP!
I used both and nothing can match WSP in terms of quality!
In terms of aestethetics :) if you like ... WSP looks more nicer than Rennsport and I was very, very suprised of it as it looks like handmade stuff!!!

Honestly, I think in the current climate the trend is to make things as cheap & tacky as possible and WSP makes it different, it is a VERY refreshing change.
Got it for 2 years and it is absolutly BEAUTY!
