i just picked up a DFPro 👍 from Best Buy today and it is pretty nifty... But its going to take some time to get used to... i;d say 1 to 2 weeks to be fully in -control w/ it... I started off w/ a civic type-r on sims so i wouldn't lose control and spin out everytime i stepped on the gas... as i got used to it i switched to a 250hp AE86 on sims and ive been doing O.K..... nothing special but im getting there....

how do you like your wheel???

:grumpy:

i keep telling myself "ok, next purchase, DFP"
But the next purchase always ends up being something for the girlfriend, or a car repair (curse Nissan's shabby plastic VSS gear!) - how typical

hopefully for X-mas i wll get some money to fund that and a TV-Wonder-Pro capture card

have fun!

i got a logitech gt force wheel (i think its like the driving force one the blue one) which i just bought recently n im gettin along wit that one. i really like the fact then when i do some good corners, the front wheels r actually in traction where as when i used hte ds2 it was like a 4 wheel drift wit a rear wheel drive car which i dont really like but yeah id love a DFP (thats the 900 degree one right?)

I just got the DFPro wheel too. Took me a week to get used to also, since I'm used to drifting with the analog controller. Any advanced users have any recommendations on how to set up the wheel to drift smoothly? I usually don't calibrate it or anything and just set the steering to professional. I tried drifting with it set to sim, but found it to be too hard.

Oh yea, I love the wheel! I find myself playing GT3 more often now.

Im cheap, I could of gotten the DFP but I decided to save some money for the Madcatz wheel 2

im still using the same settings i was using for the DualShock... these seem great.... its alot of fun but it some times gets frustrating when you get caught up w/ yourself and you keep counterstearing back and fourth down the straight....

I still use the same car drift settings too. I just thought there might be an easier way to set the steering wheel's settings. I just found out how to set the wheel to 900 degrees.... now i gotta practice that... now this is gonna take some time to master.

I've had my DFP since March and I love it. How do you guys have your wheel set up shifting wise? Do you use the paddles in the back or do you use the sequential shifter? I use the sequential shifter just because its kinda like playing ID arcade. 👍 Some people though like to have the e-brake on the shifter but I never use the e-brake much anyways so yea....How about you guys?

yeah hmm wouldnt mind a DFP aye. sounds like fun wit the shifter and the 900 degree setting. i thought GT3 doesnt allow 900 degree rotation n limits it to 200 degrees?

ive had my wheel for a month now and i love it at 900 degree setting.i use the shifter because the paddles are to small also because its almost imposible to shift with the paddles in the middle of a tight corner.so i use the left paddle for rear view and the right for reverse, works great.

You can use 900 degrees mode in GT3 but its not so good to drive with. I love my DFP but I think I will spend about half my drive time with the DS2 and half with the DFP. Main reason being I'm just learning to drift and the wheel doesn't allow the kind of quick adjustments I need. Also there is a bit of a dead spot in the middle with the DFP so I'm having trouble driving any of my superfast cars at the moment but I'll get used to it. I can't wait for GT4 though since it has supposedly been optimised for the DFP.

I got mine a year ago and I heart it bery much, yes, bery much. :dopey:

Well i use my friends, but i call it mine. i think he only used it for like a week or two. I heart it so much  i don't think i'll ever give it back. Lets just say i chose my gift from him..... đź’ˇ

yeha i got mine like almost a month ago and i love my wheel i use the shifter for gear changing but i use the paddles in nfsu 2 when ciruit racing i find it easier tos hift gears while turning... anyways the dfp is great machine later all

I just hooked up my Driving Force Pro today and started a new game with it. First time I've used it even though I've had for a like 6-8 weeks now. I got mine wheel for $80, haha. I love my accomodations from work.

What up Don?

Not much. Haven't played GT3 in a looong time. I'm working through some races now using ONLY the wheel. So as soon as I build up some cash I'm gonna try some drifting with it.
