Hey,
I guess I'm the new guy, but not new to GT. Anyway, I have a question. Is there a way to make a carwheelie from a dead start? Not like the Escudo or GT-One on the test course. I have tried numerous cars numerous time for the last 2 weeks with no real results. Any help is appreciated.

I don't think you can make a car wheelie from a dead start. That would be pretty cool, though :p

Nah, it takes a while before it "takes off"...;)

There was somone on here way back in the pages that said he could do it with any car over 750hp. The R390 Road Car looks as if it is gonna go but doesn't. *Wishes he had the old Charger from F&F*

Hm... well... unless you hacked into the cars... and gave the cars CRAZY torque (did i spell it right?) on the back wheels...

Are you talking about hybrid cars? Can you give me a site to explain it please?

very easy... put a pipe under the car... put a button in the car that when u hit it it hits the ground pushing the front end off

otherwise no u cant

dozer, did you learn that from "Stuntman?"

Yeah, it is awesome. Extremely hard though, and I hate that when I beat the game I found it impossible to get that stupid Civilian Jeep! I couldn't get it! Still fun though.

"Let the baseline getcha!"

Back to the original topic, though, I do not think that there is any way to get it to wheelie from the start without a hybrid.

Oh gawd i cant STAND hearing "let the bassline getcha"!

Yea, i tried to do that wheelie thing b4, but it didnt work, i tried all kinds of suspension settings..it would look really nice on replays, specially with a mustang. Maybe in gt2 with the Drag cars they forgot to take out

There are cars that can pull wheelies without any devices like that, I've seen plenty do it at the drag strip.
