Which do you think is better for drag racing and why?

i used to use my dfgt but the ffb and up-shifting would stop me from going perfectly straight so i would not be able to get the lowest time possible so now i use a ds3 which allows me to keep my car in a straight line and get the fastest time possible (with the right tune of course).

That's just my opinion of course

Also, getting your car inline with everyone else in the tiny spaces is very difficult with a wheel

In addition, i've *heard* that there is more input lag with the wheel than with the ds3. so you launch slower. I dont understand how wired usb could be slower than bluetooth but as i said, its what i heard

I think it might be a minor difference with your TVs display time. If I run the same tune I'm about .010 or more slower on average. At least for me, results can vary I'm sure. You may not see it but I'm sure its there

No difference. If you're using a clutch, then you're just losing yourself precious time shifting.

My TV has an extremely good input lag time (low, of course). I didn't just go to the store and bought the next best one.

I use the R2 button on my wheel for the e-brake and this works quite well. I can't use as example the O button though, because they react very slow compared to the R2 and L2 buttons. Maybe this was your problem.

^^I think you're right. My wheel uses a stock setup, which maybe were the whole "wheel is slower" thing started. MY DS3 is modified

I was just wondering what the consensus was. I know when I've tried to use my dfgt to drag I have what is equivalent to torque steer on a fwd car. I was wondering if I just suck or if I was doing it wrong. I did post my fastest Gtr BE time with my wheel but thats on ssrx where there is nothing to hit. The only time I used the wheel for online drags I side swiped a guy and was immediately called a cheater and was kicked from the room. I sent the guy a pm to appologise and explain but he cussed me out for several messages.
