Wheelstand suggestions

I was wondering if anyone knew of any wheel stands that allowed for mounting a monitor? More specifically a Playstation 3D display.

Down the line, I will probably buy a bucket sheet to complete the rig but for now a wheel stand I can easily put away is best.

Btw I have a Fanatec CSRE with clubsport pedals.

Here's a pic of my current set up with a friend playing.

The only monitor stand that I know about that is available is the one that attaches to the Playseat. Check out Playseat.com for more information. You can also purchase them on Amazon. I hope that helped.
 
Could build yourself something out of wood that is wide enough and tall enough for your pedals and legs to fit under. Then slide it as close to the wheel as you like. Shouldnt be more than $20 or so for the wood and 4 support brackets.
 
You might take a look at some of the relatively cheap desks by Ikea such as the Micke ($69).
Tall enough to tuck your legs under and wide enough to straddle the Rennsport WS.
You could probably make something similar out of wood if you have the tools too.

Like the way you raised the back of your CSPs with the wood, see the RWS Non-destructive link in my signature on how to secure the fronts of the CSPs to the RWS if you have not done that already.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I looked through all the wheel stands on the master list thread and there is nothing that fits what I'm looking for. I find it curious that there are no manufacturers for wheel stands with a tv/monitor mount attachment. I can't be the only one who has looked for one. Oh well...

I think I'll buy either a small desk or tv stand. It seems to work best.

I have my A/V mounts designed, just need to get mount plate done for monitor and pics will be up in a few weeks.
 
Hi everyone,

I thought I would give an update to my racing setup.

Instead of a stand, I bought an HP branded Ergotron LX desk mount. This way I can use my monitor as a second display for my computer. When I want to race, I simply swing the arm out and play.

Cant help with the picture thing, but looks like a great solution. Congratz and happy racing. The new driving position should start bringing them lap times down too.👍
