Exactly as the title suggests,I honestly thought that by now we'd have got some decent content and I'm not on about that mediocre and boring fun pack,I wanna see more Ferraris, bmw etc cars, not some boring obscure really car the Audi being the exception, and what about tracks, I'd love to see the original la sarthe with the original mulsanne straight,I have no objections to paying but please release summit decent and exciting

DLC's are coming out quarterly and the best part is if you don't like you don't have to buy it

It's funny, I thought it was only me, I got the season pass so that I could get all DLC, I am still trying to figure out who the hell thought that the nonsense in that Fun Pack was Fun....That was the worse selection I have ever seen and I don't know how they came up with that.

Really!

Project Cars isn't all about the most popular cars seen in car games. SMS appear to choose cars we don't get to see on the daily.

I take it, the fun in the fun pack, is doing what you want. Cars that can handle being thrown around in many conditions. Say, wouldn't it be fun to drift an old Mustang with modern suspension? Or experience a hotted up, 4WD big horsepower off road machine? Or take a Group B rally car to any destination and live out your fantasies? Surely, there's fun in that.

I really liked the fun pack, it added well to the rally cross side of PC2.

The DLC schedule has also been released, you may have missed it, but they are coming quarterly and we already know will include a Ferrari and Porsche pack.

Not really that difficult to see how they came up with 80% of the DLC pack.

The other 20% is stuff that either goes off road or sideways or both.

It's really not that difficult to see the common link between the cars or how they tie into the main title.

So that's your point, correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the majority of tracks in the game tarmac based so therefore it makes sense to release car packs that we can use on those tracks, ok so you say there releasing cars that are rare and not often seen in games, well here's a few suggestions, how about the sauber c11 that's a car that's never made an appearance in any game ever, or how about the nexus lfa, or some bmw m models, or a Ferrari the front engined variety

Basically the cars in the fun pack are cars they were probably gonna have in the game as standard but they probably thought nah we'll leav those out and repackage it as a dlc later to make even more money

The next three dlcs to be released will be the “Porsche Pack”, the “Le Mans Pack” which features the old track without chicanes on the mulsanne straight which you said you would like to see and finally the “Ferrari Pack”. Of course not every single pack released will appeal to every single player, but I think the next few packs may appeal to you.

And, most of the tarmac tracks can be covered in snow. AS mentioned above, we'll see what we get in the coming packs.

Well if you did any research, you'd have found out there is a Porsche Pack, Classic Le Mans Pack (with your requested circuit) and Ferrari Pack.

Tell me how the Renault R5 is obscure, the Ford RS200, Citroen DS3 RX is obscure or whichever one of the Audis you don't think is obscure.

sauber c11
You do realise we have the C9? Getting the C11 makes no logical sense. The C9 fits with the Group C cars we have in game. The C11 doesn't.

As far as we are aware DLC is looking as follows.

March - Porsche Pack.. 9 Porsches and a new Track.

June - Le Man Legends - 9 Le Mans Cars plus the classic Le Mans Track.

September - Ferrari Pack - 8 Ferrari's plus 2 new Tracks .
------------------------------------------------

I'm hoping we may get some other slightly smaller packs but for now this is what we know.

Well I'd rather have the c11 over the Citroen any day of the week, look all I'm saying is if there gonna bring dlc packs out then try and make them a little more enticing, instead of the fun pack would you not rather have summit like an m power pack,a nice selection of past and present m sport cars, now I'm sure they'd sell a lot more of summit like that, everyone wins

I'd love to see the sepank circuit or how about the old oscar valdeese track

I mean the Oscar Gálvez circuit lol

Personally no, and demanding pack that suit your personal needs doesn't mean everyone wins. It means you win and tough luck anyone who wants something a bit different.

The rest of the DLC, 75% of it meets your demands.

And stop double posting.

Let's agree to disagree then, nice snow pack for you and an m sports for me, we should do a poll

As a gran turismo guy i greatly envy the content you pcars guys have straight out of the box. The track roster alone is insane. I had to pick pcars2 up over the holidays when it was on sale because i just needed to be able to drive on all these great tracks that gt will never have even if it means spinning out every turn because the ds4 just doesnt work in pcars for me at all (yes ive scoured many pcars forums and tried every setting under the sun the car just spins no matter what when i look at the brake pedal).

I had the same problem as you at the beginning, could not drive the cars at all,I was pulling my hair out, wanted to throw the ps4 pro at the tv but I discovered the stable setups option, bro choose any car you want then in setup select stable setup for car and hit the track

Tried it. Guess im too used to gt physics and control. I have tried absolutely everything from controls to setups to driving methods. I realize some people have adapted and it works great but i just dont mesh with how this game works. Surprisingly though, i can drive just fine in assetto corsa its just pcars that i cant drive.

I disagree. I love variety in games and this pack brought a lot of it. The expansion of modern RallyX and the addition of Group B is awesome. When I like to try my lack of drifting skills, I might look towards the Ford than the RadBull.

What's the point of the C11? It's out of the era and looked to be in more a transitional year in 1990 when it raced the XJR-11. We already have the C9. It won't really add anything to the class. I could understand if you said the 767B as that actually raced against the field of cars we have now.

I enjoyed the Fun Pack when I do RallyX. Would I prefer a full separate location like Rockingham, Croft or Mosport, yes. But I still enjoy the Brands Hatch or Catalunya RallyX variants. Not everything has to be to your liking. You don't make key decisions within the company. If I made key decisions, I'd look into the expansion of the Touring Car classes to more a TCR identity. But I'm not. Am I calling it the worst pack ever because of it? No.

You'll get your fun in 3 months with the Porsche Pack, then the Le Mans Pack then the Ferrari Pack. Just wait for what you want.

What is it with Devs always doing Porsche DLC packs. Its like Ground Hog day with each and everyone of them.

Now that anyone can have Porsche they're all flaunting it. "Look at Porsche in our game engine with our physics! It's better than their Porsche in their game engine with their physics!" It's all good, competition breeds success.

I get that the Fun Pack was all about rally and drifting but the WRX class was pretty full. Adding one car there is nice but it would have been nicer if they tried to get one more Group B car instead, like the Lancia 037.

I like the cars, but they are useless now. cant even do anything in the career with them other than a 1 race invitational.

You can use them in a custom race. After reading this thread I tried the Group B cars again and the '66 Mustang to see if they were still fun and they were - especially the Mustang!

We really need a custom championships mode to get the most out of any DLC content.

I'd really like to see a tarmac hill climb in the future. That would be the greatest addition in PC2 or AC.

With so many great circuits still to be modeled including classic layouts, I hope hillclimbs have a low priority - the UK ones are too narrow and short to be worth including, while the European tracks are a lot longer they are still too narrow for anything other than a solo time trial contest and their stop start nature prevents the gamer from getting any kind of flow or rhythm going. If you are looking for the extreme sense of speed that you get from hill climbing from the close proximity of trackside objects you could get that from classic circuits like Longford Tasmania with its bridges and viaducts, Pau (especially pre-armco barrier) from the houses or Reims from the lines of trees.

Kind of an inflammatory thread title, don't you think? Anyways, excitement is subjective. What you find boring and mediocre, someone else may find a load of fun. Just because the car selection may appear random or obscure does not make it bad DLC.

The fun moniker appears to fit, from my perspective, as it's a group of cars that you can have some good fun throwing around in the elements. And this is coming from someone not particularly interested in it. Still, I'm not slamming the devs for it. I am not forced to buy it and neither are you.

As has been mentioned by many others, there is a loose schedule for future DLC that sounds like it will suite you well. I am also looking forward to it. Heck, all I really want is a GT4 Camaro (and Sebring and Mid-Ohio if I had the devs' ears ;)), but I know I am not everyone, and this game still has a ton to offer for me.
