Where are Audis?

I was wondering will Audi R8 (Le Mans) or Audi Quattro Sport S1 -85 (Rally Car) be in gt4? Audi has dominated American Le Mans series couple of years and S1 is one of most well known rally's group b cars.

Second thing is: Does Lancia Delta S4 sound real? Is there the supercharger sound?

Third thing: Will backfires (those come from exhaust) be in gt4? And will black tyre stripes show in the road?

Sorry about my bad english, I'm from Finland. (The land of great rally and formula drivers and NOKIA mobilephones :cool: :cool: )

1. Only the S1 has been confirmed.
2. Yes, it sounds very real.
3. Certainly no tyre stripes, backfires are probably not going to make it.

it hasn't been officially confirmed yet....but the Audi's from GTC are expected to be in GT.....as GTC was simular to what gt proloque is now.
So we're talking about these cars:

Audi TT (Stock + DTM version)
Audi S4
Audi RS4
Audi S6
Audi RS6
 
Yes I saw it too on the back of a Nissan Skyline (that prototype) but I don't no if it's real..

The backfire: not true.

A really good photoshop editor did that, and it somehow made its way around the web making people believe that there was backfire. GT5 may have backfire due to the power of the PS3.
 
What's curious is that Audi seem to be cooperating with PD with most of their current line up in the game, but a few of their key models (Rally Quattros, R8) are so far missing. Hopefully they are saving those cars as a surprise for the final release.

This game is just calling out for an R8.

Power of the PS3?

that doesnt have anything to do with it. Tokyo extreme racer, pro race driver 2, and others have exhaust flames. It's just a little particle effect. Any game with muzzle flashes or explosions uses particle effects, and those are the majority of ps2 games.

It's just like the reverse lights; a bothersome little detail that PD haven't implemented for some strange reason.
 
Maybe he somewhat meant that not until the PS3 becomes available will Kaz Yamauchi have a sufficient amount of cpu and graphics card power to produce a backfire effect up to his standards.

Really, is that true? Is it new? I remember not knowing how to do my own av at the start but I think it was available early.

It was the top performing model , about 20 years ago .
I believe it had over 300 HP , and did 0-60 in 4.9 seconds .
I'm a passionate Audi lover , since I grew up with it .
My dad's current Audi 100 has over 600000 km , without any technical problems ...
That's why I chose to buy an A4 . :)

The Sport quattro was the first Audi 5 cylinder to have four valves per cylinder which enabled it to develop 300 bhp at 6500rpm. The factory gave the top speed as 155mph and a 0-62 time of 4.5 seconds. The Sport wheelbase was shortened by 320mm but the overall length was reduced by 240mm over the Ur quattro.

I would love it if either of these classics were in the game. Can you tell that i'm a passionate Audi lover too? :)
