I am new to these forums but I have to say. The physics on this game are cartoonish. I just beat a pack of supercars in a Buick that cornered like it was on rails. I also have some muscle cars that sound just like Hondas. I have to say after playing this and forza back to back, forza is the better game by a wide margin. I soooooo did not want that to be the case.

How is this a question? You didn't have enough posts to make a thread in the GT5 discussion section so you made one here?

I wouldn't exactly call the physics "cartoonish" it's way way far from that.

The Buick special is just a beast.

You think that car is a beast ,just wait til you unlock the Mazda Furai Concept 08'.Now that car is something special. The sounds from that car are pure bliss.

That Buick is a Buick in the sheet metal only, by the way. Full tube chassis.

and you think Forza 3 has better physics!? Are you kidding me? I have the game and it's nowhere close to the realism of GT5.

The physics are far from cartoonish. For example, I bought a Lotus Europa special that was only around 150 HP and it understeered like no ones business. Even on small degree corners at 35 mph without throttle, it spun out. Every car definitely has unique handling characteristics. I can not say the same out Forza.

Well the number of posts I have is exactly one and I have no idea where I can or cannot post. I am not biased against one series or the other. I have always purchased both an xbox or whatever version of the ps platform is out whenever the newest version of gt or forza is released. Honestly forza 2/3 is the only reason I purchased a 360 and gt 5 is the only reason I purchased a ps3. I will say that after playing them both gt5 seems easier. I think the real culprit is soft racing slicks. The cars seem more realistic with sports tires. Slicks are a huge handling advantage in real life but in this game they are miracle tires. Other than that I like the gt tracks better and the game is fun. All the cars need to have the premium treatment though. My favorite thing about this game is the replays....having your big muscle car whiz by making fart can noises is a travesty. Do it with a stock car and it shakes the walls

Who said anything about FM3?

Haha, i love your avatar somehow.

For me it handles also a bit easier than Forza. Especially the soft soft sport tyres gives you way too much grip. Physicwise both games are quite equal, but GT5 is more immersive, because of the camera shaking.
