Yes it will do that,.... $30-$40 at any Best Buy, Circuit City, ect, ect.... you'll also be able to build hybrids. Only requirements are to have a standard PC (MAC doesnt work) and USB ports.

BTW,.. you've been here too long to not know where the search button is

...and to know that there is a Gameshark/Hybrid forum. Mving there momentarily.

two USB cables are needed an a way to connect them, then you can download the X-Port software free off the net, an u r good 2 go

List price of either Sharkport or X-Ports $30 USD

Huh,.. so you dont need a converter on the USB's between the PS/2 and PC eh  I suppose they sell the cd and cables (with convertor) for that much money cause we're stupid?

i read that the cable needed some wierd bulgy thing in the middle. like, its a processor of some sort... and you can get those of ebay i think... im still looking for the x-port/sharkport software on the web though, could you guys give me a link? preferably x-port, btw

U can download both US and PAL versions of the xport software at www.codejunkies.com

As far as the cable, I'm not sure if that football shaped thing in the middle serves any purpose other than to connect the 2 cables together, and give them a place to put their logo on the cable, but either way, u still need a disc to put in the PS2, and U can't download that.
