where can i upgrade my bike???

hi there
im using a chinese version of this greate game and i find it VERY difficult to find a customizing bike menu, where can i upgrade engine and buy new more powerfull engines, etc.. just like in gt4
can someone give me a point to point guide to this menu?

Go to the red toolbox icon on the menu when you are going into a race. Unfortunately you can only modifiy road bikes (even a few of those can't be upgraded) with a new exhaust for a small power increase. That is on the secondary settings from the main settings screen and there is a pull down to enable you to use the alternative exhaust.
