For instance blue gets a bit 'old' and trying something like magenta is irritating cos you have to edit to change the color because it is hit and miss. Is there a list of colors sitting somewhere I can print out?

If you don't use the Express Reply window, but use the real Post Reply or Post New Thread buttons, there is a pulldown menu called COLOR next to SIZE and FONT. This lists all the color names in their actual color.

Hotdamn. I use the express replies, but thanks, I never knew of the dropdowns 👍

Aside from the drop-down list, you can also use any color available with HTML's code (see this page for a complete list of all colors and their code). Simply insert the code where you would normally type the color's name. Here's an example: This text will be red.

Really? I was trying that earlier and nothing happened (does the color-code have to be capitalized?)

No, it doesn't have to be capitalized. Are you sure you didn't forget the # symbol in front of the letters?

Maybe. I was running the black and white colors from 000000 to ffffff in the test forum; it didn't seem to work even when I plugged the # in (does it work in the preview? because that's what I was using and it didn't show up at all; even when I put it stayed black...

Yes, it should work fine in the preview.

Well, I found my error (I didn't look hard enough for the ffffff in the preview, and couldn't tell the difference betwixt the background and it...
