Is not going to happen. There is no need for an unlike button. Nothing but problems will come out of dislike buttons.

"Like" is a nice feature, but let's not turn it into a competition or some sort of measure of self-worth, like some Facebook-teens I know.

A measure of "self worth", or a measure of "value to the community"? I prefer the latter view.

Here is what I see to be a valid use-case. A member posts something which I think is a great post, which gets me thinking "does this member make a habit of presenting admirable stuff, or was this just an aberration?" Maybe I'd like to either "follow" this person, or at least take some time to check out their prior posts. The Like Count is a help in making that decision.
