I’m aware that in other countries GT4 had just been released and last month here in the States, but I’m curious on what the level of drift skill members here on GTPlanet are standing.

 <----Beginner / Amateur.

Voting will be anonymous. :)

Not really sure, mainly a student I guess... I know hardly any of the theory behind drifting, but I can pull off and hold some pretty advanced drifts.

Very much still learning the physics of this game. Maybe post a cheap web cam vid tomorrow.

Id probably have to say that I am and always will be a student. Thats not to say Im never getting any better, its just that I could always be better and learn more :D

It's not that profs. can't learn anymore, you can learn always something, wether a pro or student:sly:💡

yeah i thought about that after i jumped the gun and voted. I know that im waaaayyy better than i ever was in GT3.

id probably say that im a beginner/amatuer but i am making my way up!! hopefully ill buy a flash drive soon so i can get some C and C about my drifting k peace out

If you think you know it all, you've got a lot to learn..

I would say you're pro when your game drifts look like D1 drifts.

I've got an example for the pro's learning: I have EASY drift settings for the subaru WRX STi Sedan spec C, wich I can drift like an amateur, but if I change those settings, it becomes a lot harder, that's what makes somebody perfect at drifting: drifting max. angles, max. smoke, max. ideal line, max. EVERYTHING, with EVERY setting IMAGINEABLE, every CAR IMAGINEABLE, even with GRIP settings!!! That's what makes somebody perfect at drifting, and THAT's the same thing why NOBODY is a perfect drifter:tup: You can always learn new settings and new cars to drift: It's a never-ending story:tup::D

id say im an amateur drifter.

But its really hard to judge your own skill level.

I was decent at gt3 drifting but I won't be doing much drifting other than the "I just lapped everyone, I can't lose!!!" celebratory drifts near the end of long races. I'll vote student.
