Where is the premium Supra RZ

I really don't understand how they could forget one of the greatest car of all time wich is the supra rz. I'm the kind of guy who don't play any of those crappy standard car ( execpt FGT & Truck), so that make me really angry to buy a racing game as huge as GT5 and not meet my supra in the dealer. And more..... they put about 1000 Skyline in the game (good thing by the way), but a skyline is suppose to have an opponent ......SUPRA!!!!

Better be in the next update:grumpy:
 
Thank you for posting this. I don't think the lack of a proper premium Supra has gotten enough mention. It's one of my favorite cars of all time and I now own 3 in GT5. With all of the Skylines, RX-7's and NSX's I can't believe they didn't include 1 Supra road car. Blasphemy is what it is! Im with you hoping for it in the next upate or at least DLC. I would totally pay for it just to have one and drive in the cockpit with the HUD off. :drool:
 
lol, it is painfull! Maybe if this thread gets enought attention it will be adressed more quickly.

Come on everyone! If you feel the pain caused by not having a premium Supra let us know.

I race in bumper view most the time anyway so it doesn't bother me, BUT I was very surprised the Supra RZ didn't make the premium cut...
 
A premium Supra is a must when there is a premium Skyline, RX-7, MX-5, Lancers etc. Why the Supra RZ shouldn't be among them is a mystery. But the older Supra - good enough for premium ... hmm. :(
 
Yeah I am a Big Huge Supra Fan, in GT5 I have the SZR and the RZ of course the RZ is King but we need to have a premium version for sure. I want to take pictures of it and baby it and race with it lolol

But Yes I hope they come out with this car and put it in the dealership, Hell, they have the 88 Supra in there, amongst other cars that should not even be premium... WHICH ALL CARS SHOULD BE PREMIUM WITH THE AMOUNT OF TIME THIS TOOK TO COME OUT LOL

Unless you were being sarcastic,
I believe the point is that many people (including myself) would want a premium Supra to customize, paint and mod OURSELVES instead of having Mr. Tom's customized race version.
 
Not a big fan of the Japanese cars in general, but I do love the Supra.
Kaz, give us the premium or we start making photomode albums of Skylines smashed to pieces! :lol:

Yeah, no, not really. It's was pretty average for a sports car in it's day, and it wasn't exactly pretty either.

The NSX, the RX7 and the 300ZX are far more important cars than the Supra.
 
Didnt someone also say max tune for supra is something like 700hp where in GT4 it could go to around 1000???

And yes, I would love a premium supra!
 
Yes, I wanted to feel the wrath of a fully tuned, wheels spinning supra from the cockpit view with great detail, same goes for the RUF yellowbird
 
I'm more annoyed that with each gt iteration the cars get less tunablilty(Is that a word). GT3 my supra had 1000+hp, GT4 900 ish, gt5 only just over 700
 
i am another person waiting for a premium Supra RZ, but i have a theory . Seeing the cars that Toyota has been selling for the past 10 years it is my theory that maybe in secret Toyota doesn't want Celica's, Supra's and MR2's to be premium cars because they cant make any money on them cause they are old models there done finished you could say. They would rather have customers be focused on there new models (COUGH) GT 86....
 
Its almost like KAZ in his young days got his first Nissan Skyline (his big love i think since he got 100's of them in game)
And lost his first dragrace against a supra rz :P he coudnt handle it so stopped putting supras in the game.

I noticed this too with several cars...mainly the R33-R34 Skylines which I find odd. I am honestly incredibly stunned that the RZ isnt premium. I do have a standard model, and for a standard I will admit...it looks pretty good compared to many other standards. When I think Skyline arch rival, I think the RZ....RB vs 2JZ.

Sorry to break it to you but the MK4 supra left a ten times bigger impact than the 300ZX , rx7 and nsx together. The 2jz has become a legend and is probably on of the toughest engines ever build, just look at the amount of engine swaps people do.

And the second hand prices reflect my opinion, you can buy a rx7 or 300ZX for next to nothing! But even a prefacelift MK4 goes for 25000 dollars in Japan.
And don't think i'm some fanboy i like all JDM cars but the Supra is king, only the GTR is on the same level.

This has become a silly competition when it doesn't have to be. Each of these cars left their mark in their on way and in some ways are incomparable.

When the RX-7 came out it was like the Miata of it's day, a cheap, lightweight, affordable sports car alternative to bigger, heavier, more expensive cars. That's something the Supra, nor the Z in any iteration (aside from maybe the 240) can claim.

I readily agree that the Supra is a great car, but this conversation is reaching fanboy levels of enthusiasm.
