Maybe I am just forgetting some, but there is barely any big saloon cars in this game. I was driving with a 300C (which is crazy fast) and it looked awesome with huge chrome rims and big everything. I want more of these huge fast cars in this game. There are so many big Mercedes and BMW's that look so amazing and are awesome cars, but they put only 2 doors cars in. All the bigger Audi's are standard and look awful. Imagine how cool it would be to drive a big BMW 7 series, Mercedes S class, Old school Bentley, but no only the smaller version are available. What are some other big fast saloon cars that would be cool?

There used to be a 7 series in previous GT if I'm not mistaken? I'd love to have S63 AMG and probably some other big luxury cars for the luxury cars event lol

Rolls-Royce obviously, any game which calls itself a car encyclopedia should include this iconic brand, the new ones aren't slow either although ofcourse no trackday specials.
I do agree with the OP that more, or any for that matter, big cars are welcome.
I'm talking about top of the line luxury saloons, big executive/dictator style barges.
Wouldn't mind seeing a classic Mercedes-Benz 600 or the 600-engined 450SEL 6.9, now that's a high performance 'sleeper'.

Ya exactly. I first realized there are none when I drive the Chrysler 300C. It is huge in every way but can have close to 800hp at a medium weight. The thing is crazy getting at 220+mph and I heard up to 275mph with a draft. I tuned mine to go as fast as my Ferrari 458 around the track. Funny part is the 300c is nothing compared to some of the other huge cars out there. Would be so cool to be in a race with a Rolls Royce phantom and it smokes you in a Lamborghini lol.

The Lincoln Town Car, Cadillac CTS-V, Rolls-Royce Ghost etc. Big cars would be a great addition in my opinion. We need the 300C SRT-8 though :(.

Believe me I have a SRT-8 spec 300C but the SRT-8 just look's alot better and have wider tires . PD seem's to choose the lowest spec of models they can find at times.

Yes, this would be nice. I feel that Gran Turismo oftens tries to fill every car segment there is, and that´s awesome! but it somehow comes out too short. I would love to see more big saloons like the E38 740 featured in GT2, the S Class Mercedes, the Audi A8, Jaguar XJ Saloons like the ones in GT2, Bentleys and maybe just for fun, American executive sedans like the ford Crown Victoria and such. I would also like to see more SUVs and Pick Up trucks. I know it´s rediculous, but as a car fan, I find it fun to feel each types of cars on track, even if they were not ment to be raced on tracks.

Come to think of it, GT2 was probably the best Gran Turismo title. Not only it had a fair car list, that gave each manufacturer equal oportunities to showcase their best models, but there were even events for cars like large sedans, station wagons and such. I can only hope for GT6 to be like Gran Turismo used to be in the late 90´s.

well they do have the Jag S-Type, M5, C63, RS6, and a few others I'm sure, but they surely need more,

Yeah, but these are from smaller segments. The C63 doesn´t even have a proper competitor like the RS4 and M3 Sedan. The BMW M5 has the Merc E55 and S-Type as competitors for it´s segment. As for really big executive sedans, there is none.

+infinity to the above suggestions.

Let's not forget the big chassis, high-power, RWD, Japanese sedans too...

Nissan Cedric/Gloria (V6t or V8)
Nissan Fuga (V6t or V8)
Nissan Cima/President (V8)
Toyota Crown (V8 or V10)
Toyota Chaser/Tourer (I6t?)

A 5.7 Hemi isn't exactly the lowest spec, it was probably the best in 2004 - when it was realeased in GT4.
But yeh I agree, they should definately have the SRT-8 and make it premium!!

On topic;

I know it's standard, but what about the CL600? That kinda does count does it not?

Holden Commodores and Ford Falcons. They may seem rather insignificant to most of you who say Rolls Royce and Mercedes, but every single Australian who plays this game will agree in saying that having more Commodores, and at least one Falcon, would make the game a tonne better. These cars are basically unknown on a global scale, but they definitely shouldn't be, they are fantastic cars, and would be great additions to the GT series. For me, these cars + Bathurst are the only things I want.

Holdn statesman could fit in this category. Anyway, they have pickup trucks, i see no problem why they couldn't add some competition for the 300c. It would be nice actually, because it would give alot more variety to this game.

Toyota chaser/mark 2/cresta/crown/verossa - i6(2.5-3.0l), i4(2l)
Toyota progres/brevis - i6
Toyota crown majesta - i6, v8(4.0l)

Would love to see the Lincoln Mark 8. I had a 1993 for 5 years and loved it. A 32 valve DOHC Cobra engine, air ride suspension that would lower at higher speeds, RWD, 2 doors and leather seats. Wasn't much for handling but the acceleration from 70 to 140 mph always put a smile on my face.

One of the front wheel drive cars from the 60's would be nice also. Either the Tornado, Riviera or Eldorado.

I don't argue your desire for more big Australian saloons (wouldn't mind them myself either) but this thread was aimed at an ever bigger segment currently not available.
There are a few Commodore and Falcon-sized cars (not many though and often not Premium either) but the true top segment of luxury cars isn't represented at all.
And although they're not everyones cup of tea, they would offer a different experience than anything currently in GT5.
I'd even prefer the Bugatti Galibier concept to a Premium Veyron for example although I would trade both for a vintage Bugatti Atlantic or Type 35 since GT not only lacks certain segments but entire periods.
Now ofcourse you can't include everything but having a few 'limos' (not the stretched variety) and some vintage machinery would add significantly to the overall variety in my opinion (which is highly subjective).

that is true.. I want more thats for sure.. I want the 2011 Taurus SHO :sly:

Mercedes S class, BMW 7series, vw Phaeton and other upper class cars would be cool. I drive a VW phaeton myself and would love to have the car in the game.
