Where's the $$$?

On GT4 there was a special events race, it was the 2nd set of races, and if you won them both you were awarded a Toyota rally car worth $235,000. You could do this race as many times as you wanted to and sell the car everytime for the cash. Is there anything like that on GT5? I just started playing and I'm going through the beginner events, but it doesn't seem like there's anyway to make money quickly. If you guys have some tricks let me know, thanks.

You have to level up into the mid 20s to get money events. You can only win prize cars only once.

You can get very much money and xp from the seasonal events.
