Which box of GT3 do you have? I have the red one and the red disc.

is there a difference between the original and mine?

I have the old because I bought the game when it first came out (even though I just started to play it a few weeks ago) and there is no difference.

when a game has been out for a while, and has sold loads of copies, they reduce the price to 20 bucks and call it a "greatest hit". pretty cool for people who dont have a lot of cash, or who havent bought the game yet.

When a game is on market for a while they realese a cheaper version of it that's called platinum.. GT3 went platinum quite fast i f you ask me... Btw this topic has been covered before... (about the boxes) i have the red PAL version and the japanese version , japanese GT concept and european GT concept... If US will get any other version of GT concept i'll get it too...

Didn't know the blue box heralded a blue disc. As far as I know our UK Platinum discs are the same.

I have the one that came bundled with the PS2. The PS2 racing pack. Red cover&red Cd but it is NTSC, not PAL. It also says in the cover "Not for sale"

Mine is the UK Platinum release, Silver box with Red picture in the middle, with a silver disc with black writing on it.
