I have used different cars for the individual races, and the Jaguar XJ220 behaved very well. However, there are other good cars, and good setups too. Which cars have you used to win this championship using which setups?

The key to beating this Championship for average drivers like myself is to make sure you win every race up until the Ring. Usually they have the Jaguar XJ220 or the Speed 12 and ONE screw up on the Ring will cost you that race.

I've noticed that even if you modify your car they will modify their cars as well. I think the only way to be faster then the computer's cars is to fully upgrade everything possible. I used a RUF RGT with Stage 2 N/A, Soft Sport Tires, full exhaust, Full Race tranny, race clutch & flywheel, ASM and TCS off. You could beat this Championship with just a full exhaust and Sports tires on the RGT. I almost did but when it came to the narrower tracks the computer kept getting in the way screwing me up in the process and costing me the races because I couldn't catch up. Le Mans was pretty hard as well, I would of lost that as well had the Jaguar not bumped into me the wrong way, throwing him into the sand traps.

I won the Audi Nuvolari for 25% completion, and use this for the Pan-Euro races. With 819bhp and an aftermarket wing, it has p*ssed all over the races so far! Mine is almost fully modded, race suspension, tranny, brakes etc.

Tho i am not looking forward to the 2 lapper @ the #Ring, i find it fun 2 drive on, but frustrating to race on because the surface is bouncy, and can unsettle cars, causign them to spin, and BANG; race over. :irked:

Just started trying this championship with the BMW M3 GTR Race Car but i cant seem to beat the slr in the straights... What car is the best for this championship?

If the Cizeta races in that championship, I used the BMW M3. NA Stage 1 tune up, and all the other crap. Weight reduce, brakes, exhaust, suspension, standard transmission with triple clutch, racing flywheel and the carbon driveshaft. Had 400 something PS.

108 A-Spec points for every race. Most problems on La Sarthe and the Ring, due to the long straights and fast corners. You won't be able to keep up on the straights. The smaller circuits are pretty easy, you will be much faster in the corners.

I've done this race with the Ruf BTR (not so much fun at the 'Ring), Lotus Esprit GT (the only problem is Sarthe: not enough top end) with aftermarket wing, Pagani Zonda C12s (a little easy, but still fun), Aston Martin DB-7 (lots of fun) and the Cizeta V16T. Of all of them, I had the most fun using the Cizeta, as I got to race two other eccentricly stupid, but still fast, cars, the Jaguar XJ220 and the McMerc.

I think I used the same Aston I used to win the Aston manufacturer race.

and Johnnybravo1, you've created almost as many threads as you have posts here.

TVR Speed 6 with stage 2 NA tune and some other stuff. I found that much hp very difficult to control on sports tires; especially when the 'ring race turned out to be two laps, and I'd eaten up most of my tires on the first. Tricky stuff, some of the closest racing I've done.

Ruf 3400 S.
200 points using medium sport tires, 320 hp (chip and race exhaust) weight reduction 1 & 2. Transmission and suspension upgrades.
200 points at Paris Opera, Grand Valley and Cote D Zure.
I ran Le Sarthe and the ring with stage 2 NA for around 160 points.
Yet to try for 200 points at those two tracks. I am a bit worried about top speed on the straights.

I used a stock Cizeta to beat this championship. I won all races up to the 'Ring and later in my game, I used the Audi Le Mans Quattro to B-Spec the 2 lapper at the 'Ring.
