Which GT6 car would you use to stand in for a Porsche 928?

Off the top of my head I could only think of the BMW M3 GTR (Rear wheel drive, Big V8 German) in terms of drive.

Porsche 928 numbers
4500mm/1890mm/1275mm (Long/Wide/Tall)
1450kg-1620Kg
4.7l 300bhp to 5.4l 350bhp.

..................Sorry couldn't resist. Originally I was gonna make a crack about Dodge Challenger since, ya know, it's German underneath, it's just as unruly and also allegedly a people's car but I realized that, THEY DON'T LOOK ALIKE!!
Happy new year!!

Had a thought, maybe the 300ZX Fairlady - the one with passive rear wheel steering... has the same FR layout, The downside is it is a six cylinder...

The 300ZX is okay, just shorter in length.

Off the top of my head:

Corvette GS

1990 ZR-1(it's like a 5-speed with that super long unusable 6th gear)

The Cerbera would do if it was 400kg heavier and had the V8.

The LFA has a V-10, the Vipers have V-10s, the Vantage '10 has a V12, the V8 Vantage is too heavy, the Ferrari 365 GTB has a V-12 and its too old, the 599 has a V-12, the Jag XK-R is heavy and longer, but could work. We really have no cars to match the 928 to 928S4. The Corvettes are the closest.

Like the ad says, "Porsche. There is no substitute. "

Buick GNX or Camaro '88 IROC are close to same power/weight/PP ~ 420, may need to do some tuning of weight balance (51:49), suspension and transmission (0-60 mph in 6 secs and 154 mph top end)

Or, Nissan Skyline Coupe 350GT '03 is pretty close stock, add a biit of rear ballast, window weight loss, computer chip then de-power a bit, custom trans set for 155. Car is only 7" longer, a bit skinnier and a bit taller. Comes in at 442 PP.

You might consider the Z8. Something else to factor in is weight distribution, as the 928 has the rear transaxle and, if I'm not mistaken, far more weight in the rear than the BMW; then again, I'm not sure of the distribution specs of the Z8.
