By not using the out of course glitch..Just by racing alot of races..

My F090/s has the most miles currently, but I'm starting to use the F686/M alot more now..So In a few races the F686/M Will be the car with the most miles in my garage :)

Ya gotta admit, those searches aren't very effective. Results are threads such as Deep-Sea Fishing, The General Anime Thread and How much can you bench press?. Nothing relating to this topic that I could see in the first several pages. Maybe linking to searches just doesn't work right.

In my first game, the 787B ended up being the car with the most miles. I used F1 cars to get a lot of the endurance races done fast, but I switched cars a lot, and won several F1 cars multiple times, so none had very many miles. The 787B had the most miles because you can only get two, and I wanted to keep one with 0 miles.

What?! These are the thread titles on the pages I listed - and I followed the links above, from a different computer, so it's not just the cache talking:
WHat Car of Yours Has The Most Miles On It?
Car with most miles
How many miles do you have on your cars?
What is the highest mileage you have on a car ?
Your Mileage
mileAGE
which of your cars has the most mileage?
Mileage
Car with the most mileage in your garage
Highest Mileage?
Most mileage on a car?
Those all sound pretty relevant to me...

Interesting... When I click on those links, I get absolutely nothing relevant. Same results
with 2 different computers, with Mozilla or IE, but they're nothing like what you're getting.

Here are my results from clicking on your first link:

Above is the actual text of the first link, done as a "Copy link location" on yet a third computer, and pasted into this window. Compare that to the URL in your screen shot.

No wonder you're getting gobbledygook in your search results.

70000Km:eek:
i never get that far because i keep restarting

Compare the URL? When you click on the search URL, it gives a "please wait" screen, then the URL changes to something containing "query=most+AND+miles", then the URL changes again to something with a different searchid. So it starts off with the same URL you gave, then changes.

I'm currently on my laptop in a different city on a university wireless network, and it's doing the exact same thing, whether or not I'm logged into my account.

I think I figured out what it's doing. Your searach is using "search all open forums" and "Search entire posts" when I click on your link, which gives 1300 random results. If I do a new search using "Gran Turismo 3" and "Searach titles only," I get 8 good results like the ones you're talking about. Are you sure you posted the right link?

Here's the search that gives good results:

Actually, no, my search was using "search GT3 forum" and "search titles only". Clicking on the link above from any of the 3 or 4 computers that I have done so yielded that exact page, in one step, with no change of URL. The original links were copied and pasted from the location bar in the original results windows, and they match the correct page whether I click on them or hover over them or right-click and copy the URL.

Well, I've clicked on both of your posts and BBM's link. I get the same results from both the links.

Might is possibly a fault of the VBB code when performing the search?

[edit]However, if I search through te keyword function at the bottom of the GT3 page, I get the pic posted above. Which I believe is found when searching the all the threads. When going through GTPlanet>Search, and selecting "titles only" it gives me the better results.

So clicking on the link both of you posted, defaults to searching the entire thread. I've no idea why you individuals can click on a link you created, unless that relates to cookies placed on your machine. [/edit]

That's extremely odd. Because I tried from 3 different computers and all of them, clicking on my original link, came up with the correct search: limited to the GT3 board and looking at thread titles only.

It probably has something to do with that session ID thingy that keeps popping up in the URL (which is there even if you don't login).

The strange part is that those links only point to a URL with a "searchid" in it, and it remembers the keywords (so the site is actually logging every search every person does for a long time), but it doesn't remember anything but the keywords.

Ok I wanted to know some people's mileage not some search function on the forums :P The reason I don't like bringing back old topics is because they are dead and not many people reply..and some of it is outdated information :)

Well, my 787B used to have the most miles, but now all my cars all have 0 miles since I haven't done anything but license tests and Arcade Mode since I restarted.

Since my PS2 blew up, now I restarted GT2, and all my cars have 0 miles there, too. I just got the Del Sol LM Edition. That's pretty cool that GT2 has special cars that you can only get from license tests.

My P001 has about 4-6,000 kilometers.

Del Sol LM..can't say I have that car on GT2 heh..I guess I'll have to look for it..Now the F686/M is the car with the most miles that I have by racing..Only 1400+ miles on it..
