The Lotus Elise can be used for practically any race between 350 and 600pp, depending on the tune.

Thanks, i found out that by my self ealier today, but thank you anyway dude:)

I use a clapped out Integra Type R, the oil light is on and it's right at 400PP. Haven't done a single thing to it except use the best tires the rules allow. Hasn't failed me yet!

I will choose Honda Accord Euro-R (CL7) as it provided enough horsepower and good handling.

My quickest 400PP car is a fully tuned mazda eunos roadster which is unbeatable on any tyres!

The Toyota MR2 G-Limited '97 won a 400pp tuning shootout recently I believe... it's also given me my personal best time at Nurb. I've found the Acura RSX (the American Integra) is really fast too.

My FT86 Concept '09 has been my go-to A and B spec 400pp car. Heck, I like it online too in that PP range ;)

I use either a Mini Cooper S or late model MX-5 tuned to exact 400. Both corner on rails and usually win or gold easily.

Cars with a hidden "bonus" in the PP calc (similar to 2J) are the :

Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '95
Dome Zero '78
Nissan Silvia K's Aero '93
Mitsubishi GTO SR '95.

They should be good right out of the box.

Conversley in the 400 bracket avoid:

Mitsubishi 3000GT SL (J) '96
Pontiac Sunfire GXP Concept '02
Volkswagen New Beetle RSi '04

as they have PP 10-20 points higher than they can perform and should be slugs

In my experience the 90s Silvias are actually SLOW for their PP, not fast. And the Mitsu GTO and 3000GT are essentially the same car.

MR2 G-Limited Supercharger is a killer at 400 PP, even dumb bobs dominate with it. On faster tracks get the adjustable transmission and set the top speed a few clicks up so it doesn't bounce off the rev limiter in top gear.

A detuned V624V (Clio or Lucetia) does the job for me and my BSpec RaceGals.

The Honda Fit Race Car is awesome at 400pp, the Mugen S2000 (with the same race paint as the Fit) for the 500pp (B-Spec).

I've always used the Mazda 323 for the 400pp events but it didn't cut it on the last b-spec seasonal so I up'd it to the mr2 supercharged, it seemed to dominate the event with my aggressive driver!

+1

I loved the CL7 so much that i have two prepared to race, one for myself the other for my bobs.

I have two CL7 too~ White one is for race, and red one is for storage, and I will get a blue one soon XDDD

Opel Speedster is great especially when a seasonal demands a 'normal' car! I think it's better at that PP rating than the Mazda Miata.

I've used the Ford Focus ST from the Madrid seasonal for every 400pp event, detuned, it's not even a challenge, but I'm not in it for the challenge.

My focus st is fully tuned to 500PP, works a dream and is unbeatable.

Citroen Xsara rally car '99 is my fav. for 400pp 👍

i did think the CL7 is un-defeat-able in 400PP, yes in A-spec, but in B-Spec it does depend on your bob and how one instruct the bob. in the latest B-Spec 400PP Seasonal, my bob just simply couldn't pass cars that he usually can eat for lunch.

in this respect, i have prepared a backup car to get the win, and the backup car is the Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II (of course de-tuning is required) and it wins easy on the long straights that CSR5 has

Bump, please.

Honda CR-X SiR '90

Setup: this one

Small tweaks I made afterwards:
Power: 180 HP
Weight: 990 kg (2,183 lbs)

Tests:
Top speed: 238 km/h (148 mph)
0-100 km/h: 5.9 s
0-60 mph: 5.7 s
Deep Forest test lap: 1:20.7xx (super soft tires)

Definitely one of the best 400PP cars, it's cheap to buy, cheap to upgrade, and it handles like a dream.

The other day I bought an Audi S3 in the U.C.D., didnt change the oil, and added sport medium tires.

Without oil change and with spoiler and minimum downforce - 399 pp

I proceeded to beat every online a-spec 400pp challenge in one try with a DS3, no abs no traction control.

Don't usually like 4WD cars but something about it just stuck out, very good purchase.

It's funny you should mention those, hadn't even touched them until like two days ago :P
