I've been saving up quite alot of money, but I haven't decided which of these cars I should get...

I have 13 mil stocked away, and about to get 14 after the 24 hours of le mans A-Spec, meaning I have enough for a Chapparal 2J, a car I've been craving since I've started heavily doing seasonals (Even though I use a detuned 787B that works just fine).

But on the other side... I've been wanting a Ford Mark IV Race Car. Now, I know that it requires the maximum amount of credits you can have in GT5. It also has the greatest engine noise of all time. Sometimes on seasonals, I slow down right behind it just to hear that amazing, tough V8 engine (At least thats what I think the engine is).

So I've just been stumped on which one should I get, Should I snag a Chapparal and ruin any other hope of getting another car, or should I do a few more seasonals and endurances and get the sexy sounding Mark IV?

The Chaparral is much faster, much better handling and much more useful in the game. It is also considerably more rare, whereas you can buy the Mark IV whenever.

Toronado

This 👍

I would go with the 2J, it's a must have in GT5

get the 2J, grind the Aspec seasonal on nurburgring for a few hours and buy the other one. rinse and repeat to get your money back.

There's a 2J in my UCD but I don't have the cash. I'm about 5.2 million short.

I'm almost level 40 and I don't have a 2J, so while I think it's cool looking (and SOUNDING  ) it's not really a "must-have," at least for me.

But I would listen to Toronado and buy it over the Mark IV (which I own, ironically).

Get the 2J then trade for a 1967 ticket, dupe and cycle and you will get the Muira, the P330 and the Ford.

If you are into time trials the 2j rules.

The only downside of the 2J is that it doesn't have headlights. Apart from that, the 2J is far the better option.

B Spec racing is your answer, kind of!

Set your B Spec friends to share. Get someone else to run them until you have the right cash amount. (About $2.6mil when the 200% daily log in kicks in.)

It's not really an either or situation. You are allowed to buy both cars. So, buy them both.

It is with a 20M Cr. Limit. Buy the J, get the Ford when you want.

Get the 2J because you can get the Ford at any time from the NCD.
