Which car?

Well it's like this. I restarted the game now. So I started with the crappy MX-5 and I have now 10k. I've tuned the car... Has around 370+ hp. I have one AE86, Silvia and the MX-1.8 i. I won all these cars except for the 370 hp MX-5. So now when I put the turbo on the MX-5 I started to race on the last leage in Amateur... You win 10k for a race. I always race the Speedway comp. So for one race (4laps) I get 10k. So now It's really easy to get the money. So which car should I buy? Should I go with the Lancer and tune it up and do all the rally comp's and get me the Escudo? It looks best that way. And after that, Endurance speedway circuit to get the Poly 01. And from there it's really easy. What do you guys think? What would you guys do if you were in this kind of situation?

I would work it out for myself. Which is what I did when I played my way through the game. There is no right or wrong way. Just do what you want to do, it's your game.
 
Yeah, look through some of the back pages of this board, and you see a lot of "which path?" type threads.

Let me ask this - why did you restart, if it seems you just want to beat the game as quickly as possible? That's the only reason you'll need the Escudo, which is just a tool to get the Poly 001, right?

I suggest you use as many different cars as possible, as closely matched to the competition as possible.
 
the lancer is a nice car but buy it cause you like it, not cause you want a escudo. the escudo soxorz big time :)

Yeah. I've been thinking of restarting a season too, but this time around, make the races more challenging. It's more fun that way.
 
My route:
Miata - Z06 - Polyphony 001

And the rest is history. I did it with the P001 because it was my first time through and I have only completed GT3 once.

He's got a fully modified Miata. That isn't decent?

The AutoBacs MR-S that shows up in the Beginner GT World Championship is faster than the rally cars, and you can still win the series in a Miata with a turbo/muffler/chip/clutch/flywheel pretty easily.
 
A Mustang with a few mods with most certainly fit the bill for a good portion of Amateur and into Pro as well.

I'll second that motion. I didn't get a Mustang until late in the game, and I wish I had gotten one earlier. The Camaro Z28/SS is very capable too, but a little harder on front tires than the Mustang is.

I suppose, but he could also get one from the Amateur Japan Championship or from the Beginner GT World.

Also, it's unavoidable to get a Lancer from the Amateur & Pro 4WD Challenges. I'm just saying if he put a little thought into it he could save some money.
 
r34 vpec II...whjat better way to get $$?!?! one race in trail mountain 35,000 and only 7 laps (im not sure havent played game in while)play 5 times and u got $$175,000 upgrade and keep racing...my ultimate tactic
