I have been running the initial rally challenges with a Lancia Integralle and the game won't let me install snow tires. Which cars under 245hp has anyone else been using that allows snow tires? Just don't want to buy ten cars just to find one that works.

I've been driving the Mitsubishi 3000GT SR '96. it can take snow tires, but it's rubbish in the beginners rally. got two silvers and a fourth..

Ft86. So far I've got gold with a stage 1 weight reduction

Are you sure? I just used the Lancia and completed all Beginner Rally yesterday.

I used a Prelude SiR, one from the used lot. It was awesome.

I'm surprised a Lancia won't take them. Might want to double check. Did you install them when you bought them, and was the Lancia the current car?

I posted about this earlier. There is, as far as I'm concerned, a bug in the game concerning tire changes on some cars (including the Lancia). If you buy certain tires and DON'T install them at the time of purchase, they won't show up in the tire list for that car on the tuning screen, despite the fact that the store claims you own one or more sets of them.

The solution is to purchase a set of snow tires again, and this time install them when it asks right after you buy them. I had the same problem with the Soft Sport tires on the Lancia.

If this isn't a bug, I have no idea what the logic behind it is.

I used a Mitsubishi Evolution III, it has 245hp exactly, and it worked great with dirt tires. It's a good thing I started collecting the Evos as soon as I started playing. I to X all in my garage. :D

I used the Tommy Kaira that you get from getting gold on the license tests. It was a ton of fun. It's super light and upgradable to about 240hp with about $2,000. Absolutely dominates on the straights

If you don't install the part right away, it will go to the Item list. Check your Item list under Tuning Parts folder.

I used Focus ST170 (tuned to 244 bhp and 2nd stage weight reduction).... it was very very easy to beat others...

Yeah I just hadn't figured out that parts not installed at time of purchase go into your parts bin. I initially bought them at the same time as my dirt tires and did not install them. Lesson learned to install parts when purchasing them. Kind of weird like the car delivery situation. Got it all figured out after I slept on it and thought it through.
