Which do you prefer: Torrents or Zip archives?

So I'm holding a poll: Which do you prefer: Torrents or Zip Files?

I have both a torrent program and a zip program. Torrents are good cause you can easily pick numerous files and pack em up in a small filesize (usually only a few kilobytes) torrent. Zip files are like torrents but with a filesize that's sometimes too big if the file inside are quite big. I'll pick torrents.

You can torrent a zip file, just so you know. And it sounds like you don't really understand what a torrent file is... it is just the hash info for the p2p network for the actual file.

I don't really understand what you are asking since one is a compression method and the other is a system for file transfers...

While your question is stupid I prefer to download from websites like Rapidshare as opposed to torrent websites. Its safer that way and easier for me, old school ftw.
